A good place to stay...
We had a wonderful stay in Siesta Key. The location was great for us. It’s across the street from the beach and short walk to the Orange Octopus (ice cream) and Captain Curt’s. The apartment was spacious for our family of 4, but not our favorite place we stayed at. It's pretty noisy at night, due to being so close to the bridge. The unit was not clean when we arrived. The kitchen counters, some dishes, the fridge, and the floors were dirty. The management team offered another cleaning, but I declined as we had stayed for 2 days already and didn’t feel comfy having someone in the unit and I cleaned already. The shower door needs a replacement. We could barely open/close it. Again, the management team sent someone up right away to look at it. It worked better for a day, but we continued to have issues for the rest of our stay. We also didn't have control over the AC - the owner was kind enough to lower the temperature to 70 at night as per our request, but we weren't able to adjust anything during our stay. We only had 3 beach towels in the unit. The management team gave us an extra one but said that there would be a charge for additional towels. The unit does not have a washer/dryer - there is a laundry room on the floor to use for a fee, so it would have been nice to have another set of beach towels. The management team was great, but the unit needs some work and deep cleaning.
