About this property
The Valley House, Unit 2
The Valley House, Unit 2 is a 600 sq. ft. custom remodeled apartment with one master bedroom and bath, a full kitchen, half bath, living room and deck. There is a very comfortable queen bed in the Master Bedroom, and a queen size pull-out sofa in the living room. Unit 2 allows pets. The Valley House is located in Sierraville, which is a small town nestled in the corner of the great Sierra Valley with great food, hot springs, and recreation opportunities within walking or biking distance. Unit 2 has been gorgeously remodeled and provides guests with comfort and privacy with a separate bedroom removed from the living area. You can cook when you feel like it or bring home take-out and dine outside on the back deck. The floor plan is open with the kitchen and dining space part of the living area. Business friendly with good internet service. Cable television. And again, we allow pets. The Valley House is a one-story building in downtown Sierraville. Unit 1 has its own entrance and is a completely separate apartment from the second unit. Megan and I work full-time but we are available by phone when needed. We love to tell people about our area, and are happy to come by before or after work to provide tourist information and meet you! Sierraville is a gorgeous, sleepy town at the entrance of the Sierra Valley, the largest Alpine Valley in North America. From Sierraville, you are a 30-minute drive to some of Northern California's most beautiful mountain destinations: Lakes Basin Recreation Area, The Sierra Buttes, The Yuba River, Downieville and great mountain biking, Donner Lake/Truckee, Lake Tahoe and surrounding towns. Making your vacation choice the Sierra Valley is a wonderful one as we are close to so much great hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, skiing and other activities at a price that won't break the bank and in a location that enjoys serenity far from the large tourist crowds of Tahoe/Truckee.

worked out good while I was hunting. It was nice to have a hot shower when I got back after a long day the room was nice and brandon always got back to me.
For me, the convenience of its location was important: central to my plan to explore the area. Everything worked and was clean. Thanks to Brendan for quickly answering my questions.
Brendan was very accommodating and welcoming. He has done a beautiful job renovating this former 6-unit motel into two comfortable apartments. Despite being on the main road, it was very quiet inside, climate control worked perfectly, and both couch and bed were comfy. It was a short walk to the 3 restaurants and small store in town. We were perfectly situated for going to a wedding in Loyalton and reception in Calpine. Someone referred to this area as the middle of nowhere: I think it is more accurate to say it’s in a beautiful quiet valley where forest meets meadow. Idyllic.
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay in this cute, little apartment in Sierraville. The inside was very clean and well done. It looks like it was recently renovated. The community ofSierravilla rolls up the side walks at 8pm but is centrally located in
There was some slight confusion during check-in as the apartment part of a duplex and the listing didn't state which unit we were in #1 or #2. After my wife and I looked over the pictures and listing, we made an educated guess that we were in #2, which was confirmed by the host when he responded quickly to our question.
