「This is an old historical hotel. I stayed 3 nights. It is proof that you cannot judge a book by its cover. First impressions, judging from the peeling paint and stained carpets, are that it may not be okay. However the room was clean and bright and had a fully equipped modern bathroom. The common areas have been well looked after. Breakfast was simple but white table cloths always add class. Staff were great.」

「Quality Nights stay with a big clean room. Definitely don't judge a book by it's cover just because the outside of this place may not be as glamorous as a Holiday Inn this place is clean and so was the microwave and fridge. Nice people working here too!」

「Positives: The room was clean. Housekeeping didn't clean out the fridge so there were 4 beers waiting for me when I arrived. The bed was comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was good. Negatives (in chronological order): There was a dude in the parking lot going through the dumpster for "empties". There is almost no parking. Much less spots than a hotel of this size would need. The night auditor checking us in didn't seem to know what he was doing. The shower in the room couldn't hold itself...

「The overall cleanliness was adequate. The lobby washroom was poorly maintained. All the toilets were full of urine and feces. Whether this was an act of goofiness from hotel guests or others. When I walked in I was hit with the mal odour equivalent to a roadside outhouse. Hopefully this is not representative of the Marriott standards.」

「Only thing that made it a 4 star rating was our door for the hotel room didn't close properly the interior doors in the room also didn't close at all. Didn't get to use our included breakfast cause the restaurant wasn't open till 730 am. For travelers that leave early than 7 that kinda sucks. Parking was good they had a security guard monitoring the parking lot.」

「Love the history of this hotel. It was a courthouse. High ceilings and beautiful woodwork throughout. Staff very helpful. Rooms clean although no hairdryer in our room. Second time staying there.」
