Beautiful quaint cabins to relax and fish

We had a wonderful time at the Lake of the Woods. It was a very relaxing place. What I liked mostly is the private lake because it was just steps away and we did not have to have a licence. We enjoyed fishing with my husband. The older stove/oven/refrigerator/ pantry was super charming. I also liked that although it was in the woods and felt far away from the city, Showlow was jist 10 mins away if we forgot something or wanted to have a nicer ait down dinner at a restaurant.

The cabin was clean and contained most utensils you would need for a night in. Great selection of cable TV. It was my fault, but I did not specify air-conditioning in my search when I chose this property. The cabin did contain box fans, and the evenings were cool and made for a good nights sleep.

Mediocre place

The cabin smelled like urine. The bed was too hard. Probably due to it being a mattress on top of a base. Room was crowded with two beds, should have been 1 bed. Couch looked like it was dug out of a dumpster. Property grounds were very nice.

I've rented a few cabins in the show low area so far and this is the best one so far. The lake is awesome and you don't need a fishing license to fish. My only complaint is that the couch in our cabin (18) was a little hard to sit on. Not very comfortable. Otherwise, we will be back.

The Management team were very friendly and helpful. The Cabins were a log type structure that fit well in the setting. They had fishing at the lake and you don't need a fishing license due to being private property, they had grills and cooking utensils, and the kitchen was fully furnished. They are not the Trump Hotel, but they are great for a rustic get-away.

The unit was very clean. I spent most of my time setting on the porch smelling those tall pine trees. Owner is so nice. I will visit again next year.

the people were all wonderful, the ones that worked there. but with the corona stuff going on, the place was not cleaned as it should be between renters, like the bedding(spread) and the dishes were not washed and the pots and pans not cleaned, I had to wash all of the dishes etc. before they could be used and we were asked to wash them before we left, not sure how someone would know if they were done or not. Old furniture, all nicked and old and the outside of the cabins looked nice but inside all was old and highly used the oven was not usable and it had 2 refrigerators just to have enough room. a 3 burner stove and one of the burners was at such an angle that everything ran to one side and could not be straightened.
