Water was not draining properly in the tub. The iron leaks water in your clothing because it’s broke. The spout came off the waffle dispenser when I pressed it and batter started spilling out. One of the kitchen workers named Victoria was very rude about it. She acted like it was my fault the nozzle came off n all but pushed me out of the way I apologized and she ignored me. They were stocking the under cabinet supplies while guests were trying to get food rather than doing it before or after breakfast. More training may be needed. On a good note, the room was clean. The food was good and the breakfast area very clean. Parking should be included in the hotel rate.

My fiance and I met here 5 years ago and stayed again as a memory before we went long distance for the next 6 months. The hotel interior is beautiful. They serve warm cookies at check in. The staff texted us directly to check on our status. They offered me free late checkout because of my fiance leaving the country, and me needing rest before driving to my home state. Overall, excellent experience. I recommend this hotel more than I ever have any other location.

Jan 23, 2019Shawnee was a very nice small ski lodge/resort. Prices were high for drinks/snacks. Parking is not far away, I would recommend bringing your own water and take breaks. Don’t forget to put tissues in your pockets, the cold air may have your nose running!
