"the room was smallish but spotless, AC Wifi shower pressure were fantastic; balcony very useful! Everything was well thought out; the shower had water backup (needs a lip) but the broom was right there. The hosts were fabulous, their recommendations great! Walking to beach a few meters away. Great place, we wish them well for the new complex they are building next to the property."

"Hmm. This is a very good property and would be excellent anywhere else in the world but standards in Greece/Crete are very high. It's a little gloomier inside photos suggest with only limited natural light. There is construction work going on literally adjacent to the property currently so expect some noise and essentially the outdoor balcony space is off-limits during the daytime. "Lovely staff and helpful. The hotel is secluded, but the friendly staff make it worth it. Be aware there is nothing around it, but the staff will help you no end and lovely x it’s on a mountain ! The place is clean and tidy and you couldn’t ask for more, but it is secluded x"

"This was by far the most unique, amazing hotel we stayed at on the island of Crete. Upon arrival we were given fresh-squeezed lemonade made from their own lemon trees. The staff was so friendly! The building is over 500 years old, and nothing like I've ever seen before. The suite we got was huge, (living room, full kitchen, dining room, and bathroom downstairs and 2 bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs).
