So, start low and end with a high note. The seabiscuit’s outside lights didn’t come on our whole stay. We were the only couple who utilized the patio with the fire pit and the only couple in the dark the whole time. Every other property was bright and beautiful and we had to use our phones flashlights to check on our food we were grilling. The property manager was informed and told me “it’s hard to get someone out there on a holiday weekend.” They also advised for me to check for anything unplugged. Everything was plugged in. We went Independence Day weekend, FYI. That was a bummer :/
The property was well kept aside from the dirty towel hanging in the bathroom. It was covered in blue paint. This bothered my fiancé way more than it bothered me. Way more. Seeing the horses first thing in the morning was great. The silence was great. The proximity to the fun in Gatlinburg was great. It truly was a place I would pay to visit again. I just wouldn’t pay for the Seabiscuit.
