Great cabin. About 10-15 minutes from the main strip in Pigeon Forge going into Gatlinburg. Loved the back porch and the front porch has amazing views of the sunset. Loved that the bedrooms are spread out with plenty of space to gather together.

Great location

Located just off Wears Valley Road, 5 minutes to the Parkway. Kitchen is well stocked and has a Very large table. Nice outdoor gas grill. Hot tub was clean & no mold on the cover. Beds were comfortable with 2 bedrooms on main floor. The cabin has 3 floors, so a lot of stairs. Nice decks.

Awesome Cabin!

Family Vacay spot

The cabin had plenty of space for the 9 of us. Comfortable beds and nice pool that doesn’t get too crowded (1 other family). Check in was a breeze and communication with host was seamless, quick and easy.

Overall very nice cabin not too far from attractions/shopping. Easy check in, quick response from owners. Was just as described. Only one minor complaint- the master bedroom (upstairs) was on the warm side. I purchased a fan which worked wonderfully.

1st Family vacation after losing my husband/Pop

It was hard but we wanted to remain close as a family after losing our beloved Pop in January. We made new memories and had an awesome trip. The only thing I would recommend would be to put a softer mattress in the bedroom upstairs. The adults were complaining about it being too hard. Other than that it was awesome!

Living room sunlight

I would recommend blinds or tinted windows in the living room over the fireplace. The afternoon sun was so bright that no one could sit on the couch or at the dining room table closest to the kitchen due to the direct sunlight. At other times the glare made it almost impossible to watch TV. Also, 3 TVs stayed on one channel only. We couldn't figure out how to change the channels. In addition, a couch or loveseat in the game room would be a welcome addition.

Fantastic Cabin, even better owners!

Great location

The house was great for our family....6 adults and 6 kids ages 8-16. The king sized beds in 4 of the bedrooms was a plus. The little ones liked the bunk beds. The table that sat 12 was perfect for our family. The pool table was fun for all. The front porch was great for relaxing after a long day as was the hot tub on the back porch. Location was 10 minutes from town which was perfect for those who don't like all the curvy roads up and down the mountain. Our hosts were very easy to communicate with and helpful in every way. We would definitely recommend Smokey Sunset and stay there again.

Christmas Vacation

Very satisfied with the property and location. A little difficult to locate but overall very good. Hot tub cover in very bad shape. Made it difficult to remove and put back. Overall very happy and will try and return next year!

Magical Christmastime

Our family gathered here for Christmas to relax, unwind, and decompress after a very long couple of years filled with loss of parents. We wanted to start a new family tradition and this place made Christmas magical again. I love the huge table that the entire family could gather round for meals, games, and coloring. The cabin is beautiful, spacious and secluded. The parking for this cabin was ideal for all our vehicles. It was great to have private bathrooms in 3 of the bedrooms. The views from the front porch are stunning and the hosts are excellent with communication. I’m looking forward to visiting here again!

Great visit to Pigeon Forge

The home was very good for what we needed. Rooms and baths are small, but the gathering areas are spacious for families to interact. We had a very minor issue with the entry code, but Ms. Asun was quick to answer, very accommodating, and personable. Ms. Asun deserves 5 stars.

Christmas with family

Had a great time with my family. The cabin wasn’t that clean and the hand rails on the porch was very loose. No yard for the kids to play. And parking was to tight!

Great location

We loved the location of this property! The layout was great and the teens and adults loved the pool table and games in the basement. Kitchen was well equipped and the floor plan was perfect for a couple of families. Our only complaint is the mattress in the upstairs main bedroom desperately needs to be replaced! It was sunken in and extremely uncomfortable. All other beds were great. Our family had a great time!

Needs a better cleaning

The cabin was cute, but needs a complete cleaning, the floors needs mopped, needs new bedspread, the ones on the beds did not look clean. Has not been dusted, and the bathroom rugs are old! The outside deck needs total repair. Parking is not great either. But we made good and had a great family Christmas.

Relaxing mountain cabin

Located in a quiet little valley just outside of downtown Pigeon Forge, Smoky Sunset is a comfortable, well-appointed mountain home with room for the whole family (and then some). Enjoy the peace and beauty of Wears Valley only a short drive from shopping, dining and entertainment in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. And if you don't care to leave the valley, there is plenty to enjoy right at the cabin: a mini movie theater, pool table, arcade games and a hot tub give you plenty to do with friends and family.

Great Location off the craziness, of the strip

The cabin was beautiful, there was an amazing sunset view, the location was great and out of the way of the traffic. The cabin could use a deep cleaning, as there was a lot of dust and cobwebs high up on the ceilings and every shower drained slowly as if the drains were clogged. But the cleanliness of the commonly used spaces was fine and beds and linens were all clean. The TVs are all different and difficult to work so some direction on how to use the cable, streaming apps, etc. would have been helpful. The directions to get to this location are sketch, you can not use the address in your GPS, you have to follow the given directions or you will end up in Sevierville. Overall I was very happy with the layout, beds were comfortable and the location was beautiful. I especially loved the layout of the main floor as it kept us all together even when we were doing different things. I would stay here again!

Smoky Sunset

Although we are normally “ocean people”, this birthday reunion in the Smokies was awesome. The setting and scenery are beautiful, and was very close to virtually unlimited activities in both Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg!

Great cabin!

This cabin was great for our family vacation! We had 8 adults and 2 kids and plenty of room for everyone. It was a very clean cabin. The only complaint we had was the grill did not get hot enough to cook our food and we had to finish cooking in the oven. We would highly recommend this cabin to any large group.
