The cabin itself was clean, but it’s a safety hazard and the amenities are in poor shape. The seal on the fridge is messed up, so the fridge doesn’t keep food cold like it should. The beds are all hard. The stairs are uneven and my elderly aunt fell from the platform at the bottom to the floor and injured herself. The heater in the living room doesn’t work right and we froze to death half the time. The water smells like sulphur so no one wanted to bathe in it. The bathroom stinks like sulphur as well. The shower had a big crack in the wall. There wasn’t enough seating for everyone, even though the cabin advertises that 6 people can stay. The kitchen table only holds 4 and the living room only holds 4. The kitchen sink is super tiny, like what would be in a camper and there’s no dishwasher. So it’s terrible trying to wash dishes in the way too small, 1 basin sink. There was no wifi, so nothing could be streamed for the small kids to watch. It appears whomever owns the cabin cut corners on renovation and it shows. It was not an enjoyable experience at all.
