'Appalachian High' is located in The Preserve Resort, a luxury upscale cabin development, and sits at 2,300 feet above sea level, the highest elevation of any vacation resort in the area.

This quality, spacious three story, 2 bedroom cabin has two full baths, and sleeps up to maximum 6 adults / 8 total guests spread out on its spacious three floors (King Bed, Queen over Queen bunks, Queen Sleeper Sofa, two Twins in Loft).

GAME ROOM: Guests will love the game room with giant, cathedral style ceilings. Featuring a full size, competition grade pool table, a standalone foosball table, guests can battle for bragging rights. Others may enjoy either of the two Atari stand alone game systems, including a sit down race / 3D / multi sensory driving simulator, or play a game of doubles on the table sized Multi-Cade, featuring Ms. Pacman, Centipede, Galaga or other 1980's favorites and compete for high score!

GSMNP: For those wishing to visit the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, the most visited national park in the country, with its famous hiking trails (we recommend Alum Cave Trail), scenic overlooks (we recommend Clingman's Dome), and soaring waterfalls (we recommend Laurel Falls), as well as the ever popular Cade's Cove, are all only minutes away - with not a single traffic light in the way !

GATLINBURG: For those wishing to visit Gatlinburg, skip the Pigeon Forge traffic and take the nearby Line Springs Road / Metcalf Bottoms route for a traffic free / quick / back door scenic access directly into Gatlinburg from this cabin.

WANT SNOW?: Due to the cabin’s high elevation, we get snow consistently throughout the Winter months. Want to snow ski ? Ober Mountain is only minutes away. Guests should pack a set of tire chains during Winter months - just in case.

WANT BEARS?: Bears, jack rabbits, chipmunks, racoons, owls, and more are routinely spotted at The Preserve, especially during the Summer, when bears are spotted almost daily.

IDEAL LOCATION: This cabin is within easy driving distance to Dollywood, Ripley's Aquarium, The Island, Food Town, Pirates Show, Dixie Stampede, Gatlinburg, Cades Cove, Laurel Falls, Pigeon Forge, Ober, and Soaky Mountain Waterpark.

Some guests check-in and simply stay in, and never leave the cabin - enjoying the views, the balcony hot tub, game room, and grilling out meals together.

RESERVATIONS: Reservations for the condo are easy ! This preferred payment option is available 24/7 as it is an automated process to book the reservation. No waiting for the owner to 'approve' your stay !

Once paid in full, a confirmation email is sent to you through VRBO. Later, an informational packet on the condo, including the keyless code for entry to the unit, directions to the unit, checkout instructions, and so forth, will then be sent to you by email to you in advance of your intended stay.

REQUIRED ID / AGE RESTRICTION / 3 VEHICLE LIMIT: Renters must be 25 or older - no exceptions. No parties / 3 vehicle limit on premises at anytime enforced by 24 hour video surveillance of parking area and RING doorbell video surveillance of entrance (no cameras inside). If you are looking for a place to host a party, or exceed guest capacity, or bring pets, this cabin is NOT for you. Violation of this rule results in forfeiture of stay fines, and prosecution. This cabin is geared towards couples, retirees, and small families - not large gatherings, college parties or celebrations.

NO SMOKING / NO PETS: This is a strictly non-smoking unit / complex. There will be a fine, forfeiture of stay, and required reimbursement for all costs of deodorization (which could be thousands of dollars) if smoking occurs in the unit. This rule is closely monitored and strictly enforced.
