We loved making memories the American cabin during the Thanksgiving holiday! Perfect cabin for a family of six. The kitchen was very well stocked, the table in the kitchen is SO much better than the picture. The table comfortably seats six.

Dirty/needs maintenance
First off my family and I were so excited about going to the cabin and spending our thanksgiving together. Of course no matter what we made it work and had lots of fun. But on arrival trash was located all around which could have been from the bears. Once inside the house it looked just like the pictures but a little smaller. We own a business so we had to do some work before we actually had fun. The username and password wasn’t correct called the company and they had the same. We found another username and password on the router and that worked. As always I walked through and inspected the house. Dust was on every surface, cob webs, dust bunnies were everywhere. So as a momma I cleaned the house as I would my own. I like to be comfortable in a clean home. I walked into the bathroom and the water was yellow and when I flushed a yellow ring was in the toilet. I took it as someone peed and didn’t flush and it set in there. Found out soon later it was the water that was yellow. Soon my mother in law came in. I was setting here up in the upstairs bedroom. When we pulled out the pull out couch their were diapers inside. Yuck. So we threw them away and made the bed to find out it was just nothing but springs. We put it back and blew up an air mattress. The kids finally got to visit the hot tub but we had noticed the water had a film on it and it was low. So we filled it up and said screw it let the kids play we will wash them afterwards. The next day a maintenance guy came and cleaned and fixed the hot tub because it was leaking. The sauna was nice but the knobs were all broken. We tried washing our clothes in the washer and it backed up through the sink and tub. The dryer took three to four times to dry the clothes. The second night we were there the kids wanted to try the jacuzzi. We plugged it up kids jumped in and we started filling it up. The water was brown. The kids didn’t want to stay in there. So they got out. I would have to. Plus the plug doesn’t seal very well as we noticed the water kept getting lower as it was filling. We made an awesome thanksgiving dinner but if you plan on cooking a big dinner or cookies you will need to bring your own as they only provide basic pots and pans. Which we didn’t get an email about it til the day of after we had been traveling for a few hours. But we had already packed up several things we thought we might need. The last night we were in the cabin two roaches climbed out of our pumpkin pie.

Good stay
The cabin had good space. We wished we had known more info about the location. It was our first time in the area. We didnt wanted to cook so we had planned to eat out every meal. The location was not too friendly for that. It was a good 20-30 min drive out of the mountain and into Pigeon Forge depending of traffic. It was Labor Day weekend so perhaps that made it busier. If your plan is to stay in, is a good peaceful area. We saw some bears near the cabin. Cleanliness could be better. Bathroom tub had dirt/sediment and shower curtain had mold and needs to be replaced. Fridge was leaking water from the freezer to the bottom fridge area. Overall ok.
Cabin was very clean! Very roomy and comfortable...the only thing I would say that it needs is a new mattress for the pull out bed upstairs. Overall a great stay for our family!
Perfect!Cozy and comfortable, needs a few updates,(seating in the living room)
Absolutely amazing!!Cabin was perfect, very cozy!Could use a few small updates but overall wonderful!!!Would definitely stay again and have already recomended friends😊

Not what I expected
Beds were comfortable. Hot tub, pool table and game areas were great. Cabin was very rustic, furniture in living room was very worn and uncomfortable, there were no rugs on the floors and the noise level from above was terrible. The fireplaces did not work (weather got down to the 30's while we were there) and we had hoped to use them but we were told that they shut them down April 1st?????? We were given 1 towel per person in unit and was told that was all they would give. So we laundered towels almost everyday?????There was not much of a view or a porch to enjoy. The road to get to our place off the parkway took over 10 minutes and was extremely narrow and windy. The cabin meet our needs but I would not stay here again!!!

Good atmosphere and clean
Great area for excitement and serinty.. the night is perfectly noisy with cicadas and crickets. The woods seem inviting and spark curiosity for conversation. Great place to take a small family to for reaching more understanding and love for one another.
