The cabin is in a great location for everything we planned to do on our vacation. Just a few minutes from Dollywood and very manageable drives to the national park.As excited as we were to stay in this cabin and the great location, it was very underwhelming. I wouldn’t say the cabin was dirty, but could definitely be cleaned better. Stains on bedding, dirty floors, and cobwebs. Maintenance needs some work…from wobbly chairs, to run down and potentially dangerous deck. The hot tub works, but it’s on the older side and sitting on a deck that is suspect at best. There is also a urine smell in the main living space, most likely coming from the area rug.This Cabin has the potential to be great, but needs some immediate attention. That being said it served its purpose.

Perfect location. Out of the chaos of Gatlinburg, but still close enough to the national park and plenty of restaurant choices. It felt like you were staying out in the woods, but yet close enough to pigeon Forge for everything you needed.

The cabin met our needs for this vacation. For the price, I felt we were paying more for the location, than anything. Needs TLC and mild updates. Little things like, 3 pillows on the bed instead of 4 (metal headboard), just made it less nice. Upstairs toilet paper roll was broken and secured with a rubber band. The sheets and towels were washed with very strong scented detergent that made it difficult to rest.

Pleasant area

We visited in early June 2025. The property manager was very helpful and responded when we called. I loved the whole experience but I was disappointed in the overall condition of the property. There were no bath mats, no rugs inside or out side by the entrance door causing a slip hazard. The fireplace had loose stones, the hot tub switch was broken so we had to turn it on and off by the breaker switch. The main lamp in the living area had a broken base with sharp edges( manager was informed who stated he was aware of the broken lamp) this would be an issues if small children were around. The bath tub didn’t drain very well. This was a cute cabin that just needs a little care and refresh.

We had a lovely, relaxing stay at this home. We had some issues operating appliances (TVs and lights) and Tom came right over to help us out. The kitchen could use some upgrades, but since we were only making coffee, it was fine for us.

A beautiful home in close proximity to all the area has to offer. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in the area and all the comforts the cabin had. We would definitely stay again.

Cabin in Pigeon Forge

I dont like saying anything negative, but this cabin is just that, a cabin. Bring everything from your house. We had to go out and buy an opener just to have wine on New Years! If you want a totally basic cabin, then this is it. I as working in cardiac surgery expected more. Location is great for Dollywood. But thats all you will get. I think they need a property manager that knows about hospitality. I have stayed in many cabins in the area, and even the most basic has more aminities. And be sure to bring curtains for the bedroom upstairs, because the light comes through very early, and wakes you up.

Location was great, close to attractions, but out far enough from all the hustle and bustle. We did see a bear on the last night of our stay when returning to put cabin.

Pictures can be Deceiving.

If you're used to a good bed, don't stay here. And setting on good furniture, Way over priced, Construction going on behind the cabin that woke us up early. This is supposed to be a gated. Resort gates never closed.

Cabin Needs Updating

Description of the cabin is deceiving. The little kitchen table could barely seat four and the dishwasher could not be opened with four chairs at the table. The sofa was well worn. There were very few cups and glasses. There was long dog hair on the carpet from a previous guest. No sheets available for the sleeper sofa. The upstairs shower is very narrow and only small people could use it. The sheets in the main bedroom had a tear in them.

Lovely Cabin with Excellent Location!

Property fit our needs overall! Really enjoyed location, separate bedrooms/bathrooms, hot tub, and old school video games! Some overall updating could be done, but overall very welcoming and clean. If you opt to bring your dog, be mindful that there are few, if any grassy areas anywhere near the property. The property is literally on the mountainside, and everything is either mountainous or asphalt. There is an area near the pool, which is good for walking your dog, but you need to walk down a good distance to get to it. We were not prepared for no grassy areas near cabin - we're from the midwest! We appreciated pets were allowed and we were very respectful of this opportunity. Also appreciated the in-unit washer dryer and dishwasher. They even left a bit of DW soap - greatly appreciated as we cooked in a bit so save money and eat healthier. Bummer note - the A/C went out on our final night there and we could not cool the cabin below 78 degrees. It was a pretty miserable final night due to the temperature. By the time the owner got back to us it was the next day. Thankfully, the windows had screens and we could at least get in some fresh air - BUT cabins are close and neighbors in LARGE cabin next door were very noisy, which we wouldn't have noticed if the windows could have been closed. Owner did not compensate us at all for last night of no A/C. We are overall pleased with having been able to stay at this well cared for property and would recommend to others!

Family Vacation

Cabin was beautifully, very clean and loved the gated community. Tom answered all our questions prior to booking which made it very easy. Will definitely book again.

This is a very convenient location for activities at Dollywood and Pigeon Forge. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would consider a return visit/stay at this cabin. Contacted the owner about an issue he was courteous and had a sense of urgency to resolve. Some items are older and need repair or replacement, such as the furniture located on the back deck. The resort area behind this cabin has a strong odor of sewerage.

Lovely!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. I was concerned about the cleanliness and need of an upgrade based on other reviews but I found the property was clean, comfortable and yes, the furnishings were rustic but it's a cabin and they were perfect for the setting!
