Hotel location is very good. However the room is a bit small for a twin beds room. Also, I think is this hotel is upgraded from an old building, the corridor outside the room is smelly. Other than that, room is clean and good. Overall service also good especially the gentlemen who greeted me upon checked in on Dec 25 evening is very nice and pleasant.

The room was good, spotless and the sheets were exceptional. The floor under the bed could do with a good cleaning. The bathroom was spotless, but there were no handles and pose an accident risk. It would not pass Health & Safety Standard in the USA.

The reception staff who helped us with the check in was extremely friendly and helpful. This hotel is right next to the Myeongdong station and is very close to the Main Street area.

Property is in a very convenient location for shopping and dining, close to Meongdong Cathedral and is in Central Seoul. Rooms are small especially if you have large suitcases. Has fridge but no drawers for clothes, only small open shelves. Basic toiletries, friendly, helpful staff. Karaoke and music can be heard until midnight.

This hotel is a quick 3 minute walk from the subway, and close to the shopping area of Myeongdong. Also easy location if you are planning a city tour or DMZ tour. There are 2 great bars right across the street from this hotel, Furoa and Objktt. Would recommend staying here.

convenient yet quiet. within a quiet street in Myengdong. close to subway. plenty of food downstairs. there is a notable chicken hotpot right next to the hotel, serves superb food at affordable prices. room size is small good if u r using top opening luggages.

Everything is good about the hotel, location is very convinient too. Only take note that the rooms are small. Need to be super creative to store your luggages especially anything bigger than 24" bags They provide water dispenser near the reception too and the self laundrette machine cost 3000W per wash/ dry.

Creto Myeong Dong ticked all the boxes for me. Simple no fuss hotel. Right location, nice hotel and friendly staff. It was probably the holiday season and it felt like the were tad understaffed. If they could improve on the room cleaning, it would really be PERFECT and all 5 stars for me.

We were happy with our stay

Pros: Good size room with all the necessary amenities, mattress was comfy so we slept very well, opposite of a good coffee place (Leesar Coffee) and 711 and best of all we got a good deal as we booked in advance. Cons: Slightly further away from the main Myeongdong shopping street so quiet but can be a hassle to walk back to after a tiring day Overall: We were happy with our stay

Stayed for 8 nights. Very convenient location. Won't run out of food idea. The lady staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a young male staff who is not so friendly, quiet surrounding away from the main street, there is washer and dryer but only 1 each so you may have to wait, was in 3 single bedder: not ideal layout, no natural light as windows are small, flooring is not carpeted, bring your own bedroom slipper if staying longer as the quality given is poor, water bottles replenished daily, auto bidet in WC, not much storage so you would have to leave things in your luggage, there is water dispenser in lobby, weighing scale for luggage on #2, only 1 lift operating, daily housekeeping, there is a safe and mini fridge in room. Appreciate that they allow us to check in early. For the price paid, can't expect more. I didn't like that its not carpeted especially during cold season. Easy check out... one great point is they rent free for wall adapters, hair straighteners. So this was beyond my expectation.

The hotel was nice and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Although it can get a little noisy towards the night from the bars across the street playing music out loud. So the water piping would creak and make noise whenever another guest room would run their water so that was a little bit unpleasant. Aside from that, hotel Creto was very nice and extremely conveniently located near the subway station, restaurants and myeongdong shopping street.

The owners/reception was very helpful, they all speak very good english, a lot better than the other hotels we stayed (Gimpo, Busan Jeju). We asked for directions/advise every time we're not sure, they're always very accomodating. We love the fact that we can always order breakfast the night before and it's ready the next morning at our prefered time, hence we don't need to walk far to get our coffee. Very very happy with this hotel, especially the staff. Highly recommended. We will stay there again if/when we go back to Korea.

Value for money in the heart of Myeongdong

Great location, 2-3 mins walk to the airport bus stop and myeongdong station. Lobby and room felt quite new and clean. Staff were quite friendly. Toilet had a bidet and heated seat, good for winter! Room is on the smaller side but functional. There is self service laundromat on the first floor which was easy to use. Not so great is that the bed seem to have some plastic sheet underneath and soundproofing is not good. Overall at this price point, it is a comfortable stay for holiday.
