"Staro Selo (Old Village) is a very special place for me because my mother grew up in this small mountain village. Even without the family connection this was a wonderful stay. I can not say enough about Tea who was phenomenal at hosting and going over and above, taking much time to research and answer the many questions I had about the village.. "A beautiful, peaceful property in the small village of Smokvica right by the sea. Lorena, the hostess, was on site to give us a warm friendly greeting. Also, she took us through out the property explaining everything and answered all our questions about the home and area. Everything was very well thought out for their guests. Drei eingeferchte Hunde ca. 30 Meter neben dem Haus bellen vor allem nachts ohne Pausen. Da keine Klimaanlage vorhanden ist ist , wird es sehr warm in Haus. "I got a nice upgrade, very clean room, comfortable and a spectacular sea view. Best breakfast ever in a hotel in Croatia! Only issue we had was the room being very hot. I asked to turn the heater off, even though the room was still very hot. Set up the AC on but looks like it was not working. End up sleeping with the windows open. "
