This was a great place to getaway for a few days and we loved it. Here are the cons:
-Despite detailed instructions, it was difficult getting the code on the door to work, and this happened just about every time we tried to get in, even when we tried to reboot the lock.
-The VRBO provided about a thousand coffee filters, a nice coffee pot and even some sugar, but no coffee? I called the number provided when we found this out. Never heard back.
-1 tv, 5 remotes and no instructions? We are not techy-folk and this was a real downer, because every time we sat down to watch tv, no one could ever quite figure out how to even just get a few simple channels. That definitely put a damper on the week for those times when we just wanted to do some tubing.
-Inadequate set of measuring spoons and cups. A dash, a smidgeon and a pinch are very cute, but not very helpful when I came there to do some serious cooking. In all fairness, there was also a 1/4 tsp and the day we left, we found a 1/2 tsp somewhere in a drawer far, far away. This is simple stuff.
-The king-size bed was very comfortable; our crew found the queen bed and the bottom bunk bed to be way too soft. Also the queen bedroom could use a second lamp.
Those are the cons, and each one is a pretty simple fix. Other than than, we loved our VRBO. It is real close to the beach, comfortable and an easy walk, bike ride or drive to just about anywhere in Seaside, which is a super little town! Thank you!
