Ocean Front with Spectacular Ocean Views! A Frame Sleeps 6 in Seal Rock!

Find yourself 'Above The Waves' when you stay at this beautifully remodeled A-Frame on the central Oregon Coast. This dreamy home includes a spectacular view of the ocean from 2 floors and is ideally located in Seal Rock, one of the most popular places for tide pool explorers, storm watchers and photographers on the Oregon Coast.

Inside is a spacious living room that takes full advantage of natural light from the west. The electric fireplace brings a cozy atmosphere to the open concept living area. A small but modern kitchen with beautiful upgrades and a large deck that overlooks the Pacific Ocean provides you extra space where you can grill up the catch of the day!
The primary bedroom, located on the uppermost floor, will wow you with its gorgeous views through the window that reaches to the apex of the A-Frame. This wonderful space has sloping ceilings which evoke a coastal cottage feel yet has stylish interiors. A modern ensuite bath with quartz countertops, tile floors and a tiled walk-in shower adds to this perfect place to retire to. A designated desk in the primary bedroom is perfect for those that need to work remotely. One of the three other bedrooms is on the main floor across the hall from a shared contemporary bath with a walk-in shower. Downstairs are two more bedrooms, off the garage, that adjoin with a door in between them.

During your stay, gather on the deck to view the sunset, watch for the elusive "Green Flash", build a bonfire on the beach, stroll the unspoiled sandy shore, and explore the glistening tide pools. Above The Waves has its own private access to the beach. It is is also conveniently located near Brian Booth State Park so bring your kayaks and explore Beaver Creek or take a walk on the miles of trails and beaches.This home is perfect for a family vacation, a romantic retreat for a couple, or a quiet and stunningly beautiful ocean holiday with friends.

Had a great time

We loved staying right on the beach with great access and amenities. Will definitely stay again. Sunsets were amazing, and we saw some whales spouting straight out in the Pacific. Next time I'll bring a fishing rod. One little thing - if you don't want to cook with teflon, bring your own cookware.

Amazing stay

This house was heaven. such a perfect view and all the ammenities were perfect too. The beach acsess was incredible, and the beach was full of shells, agates, and wildlife.

My sisters and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The house had everything we needed and such a fantastic view. It was beautifully decorated and SO CLEAN!!! Bonus - we saw a seal at seal rock! Cherry on top for the trip:)

Just as beautiful as it looks

My wife and I and our two kids had a great 3 nights here. It was close enough to go do things but far enough away to feel like a real beach vacation. It was clean and great. Everyone loved it.

The view is every bit as fantastic as in the pictures. We had a great few days here. Appreciated having the washer and dryer so we could do laundry and not have to pack as many clothes for the plane ride. Great instructions for check in.

20th Anniversary

Can't beat the views from the deck, couch or bed. Just a 2 minute walk down the stairs to a very private beach. Also had some of the best tide pools I've seen. There was a very good bakery only 5 minutes away (The Chubby Mermaid).

Had everything we needed. Space for kids and dogs. Beach is not busy in Seal Rock, which is nice. Was clean and stocked with supplies. Just needed a little yard maintenance in the backyard neededneeded backyard

Amazing view!

My husband and I loved our stay! The view was amazing from the master bedroom. There were plenty of towels, comfortable beds and a beautiful kitchen. My only concern is that the driveway was super hard to find in the dark. We came in late and had a hard time finding the driveway off 101. And cell service is not available to map the location. Make sure to read the directions before you leave, which I did not. We will definitely be back many more times! Thank you for a great anniversary weekend:)

Exceptional view

Great location. Deck is in poor shape. Beams in kitchen quite awkward. Bed too firm for us, but it is a matter of preference. Very small dining table, really for just two. Other than that, the location made up for those inconveniences.

Tide pool escape

We had a great time at the house! What a view! The kitchen was great and we used it to cook dinner one night and make lunches. It was also close to Nye Beach and Yachats for some exploring and eating. The easy access to the beach and tide pools was the highlight...we saw a lot of different animals! The only downside was that the house did smell like dogs. While it was *very* clean, the previous guests must have had some stinkers.

Relaxing coastal vacation

My husband and I had a great stay on the Oregon central coast at this amazing property! We loved the ocean views and the easy access to the beach to get in some daily beach walks with our dog. The house itself was very nice and clean with updated kitchen and bathrooms. One small piece of feedback: one night when it was extremely windy, there were what I believe were some vents on the house that were constantly banging and made it hard to sleep (just that one night). Other than that, we had an amazing experience and would love to stay again in the future!

Great place to stay!

We loved this spot! The view is amazing, beach access was easy for us, and the home was well stocked. So nicely done! The only reason I did’t give 5 stars is the slippery LVP stairs to the upper bedroom. We have two big dogs, both over 150lbs. They’re very agile, yet both took falls on the stairs. We finally gave up and slept on the main level. Other than that - great place!

Overall nice. Great location.

The house was overall nice. The location on the cliff with easy beach access was great. It was a little difficult to sleep because of traffic noise given the proximity to 101. Also, the primary bedroom mattress wasn't great. They did allow us to bring our dog which was great, but didn't have any way to clean her. We had to purchase a hose so that we could keep her from trashing the house with sand. Overall good experience.

Wonderful Experience

We had a great time and this was a great place to be based out of. We had easy access to Newport, Depoe, and Yachats. The beach it’s located on was also very nice with some tide pools, whales, and not as busy as some beaches. The only concern we had was how close it was to the highway with our dogs. There is a gate which helps but our dogs found the public access points that lead right to highway. Thankfully no one ended up on the highway and we kept a close watch on them when off leash. This was a very fun a relaxing location. Thanks Sweet Homes we will be looking you up again for our next adventure to the coast.

Spectacular House in need of better property management

Above The Waves is a spectacular ocean front spot to take in the Oregon coast. However, there was a serious communication fail between the property management and the property. We were instructed there was trash and towel concierge with the house. There wasn’t. I texted, emailed and called about that and a backed up garbage disposal. Sweet Homes acknowledged my issues and said they’d pass the information on..but nothing was ever done. Our last morning at the property was spent gathering up trash that critters had gotten into because the trash had not been collected.

We can't say enough good things about this house. The location is beautiful. The owner provided everything needed for a perfect stay. Its close to so many beaches and hikes that your head spins from the options. Or if you just want to stay there and walk the beach, its usually only you and a few other humans and dogs.Quiet and serene. Thank you!
