All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10 pm to 8 am.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
October-March Please note that coastal communities build a sand berm for protection during high tides, and often, children can slide down on boogie boards.
A long-term tenant is currently occupying the second apartment.

If you are bringing a dog on your trip, the pet fee is already included in your quote when selecting ‘Yes’ to pets. If you would like to add more dogs, please contact us. The pet fee is per stay and ranges between $150 and $200, depending on the bedroom count, and will apply for each additional dog.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

We enjoyed our stay at this rental property. We especially liked the location… Being able to walk out to the beach and sit on the front porch and watch and listen to the ocean. We also loved how close it was to Main Street and being able to get food or shop. I would say that I only recommend 4 to 6 people even though it states it can hold up to eight. We had six and I can’t imagine having one more person there. Overall, it was fantastic, but I would recommend them adding a barbecue on the patio or porch and including at least two more beach chairs for people to use. There were two beach chairs, an umbrella, and two boogie boards that we were able to use, which was nice.

Some good things about this house, location,location,location. The beds and bedding were extremely comfortable. House was very clean. Now for the bad. We received an email before our arrival that said parking directions. When you opened it, a picture of the building next door came up. It had parking spaces on the bottom floor along with no parking signs. It didn’t seem right so we called Vacasa. They told us to park there so we did. 10 pm, a neighbor is pounding on our door that our car was about to be towed. There were no instructions or welcome sheet inside the house to tell you anything!! We were a party of 8, yet the dishes did not reflect that. We only had 5 dinner plates and the kitchen was not very well stocked. The living area is very small, only seats 4 people. Dining chairs so uncomfortable that you only want to sit in them for a few minutes. We wanted to have a family movie night, but were unable. The backyard is described as a serene place to have morning coffee. THERE IS NO BACKYARD! It is a cement slab with no where to sit and filthy dirty. The rollers on the patio door are shot. The door is almost impossible to slide open and shut. None of the grandchildren or my husband with arthritis in his hand could operate it. The dishwasher broke and flooded the kitchen floor and counter top where all of our food was sitting. They were unable to get someone to fix it until after we left. Upon further investigation we found mold under the sink, indicating it had been leak

Location is great. They give you the door knob combo, but that doesn’t open the door. You have to twist the thing that a key would normally go in. That is not in the instructions. Garage entry instructions not provided. I called for a code and they sent me a code. That did not work. Turns out there was a remote on a hallway shelf that was semi hidden. That was not communicated in the move-in instructions. The garage is more of a small storage unit. Only thin cars can fit. No overnight parking!!!!! If you have two or more cars, you have to try to figure out the cryptic parking regulations of seal beach. This should be clearly stated in the listing. PARKING IS A NIGHTMARE. Be warned. One side of certain streets only for overnight parking. Good lunch figuring it out. I went to the police to figure it out and they literally said, “I wouldn’t bring my family here for vacation.” They had to discuss it with each other before settling on what they thought was the parking regulation. Just brutal.

The apartment looks like on the pictures but does not have an ocean view during winter period until end of April (sand dunes). The Garage was not available during our stay and there was no description in the apartment about the amenities (e.g. how to switch on the hot water). The location in the city is great and overall the apartment is fine.

We needed a place to stay during our remodel. This property was directly on the beach and close to Main Street. The remote control for the TV was missing but the managers replaced it the same day we called them. The property is old but recently remodeled. It fit our needs but could have used a few additional electrical outlets.

We absolutely loved this cozy rental. This place is in a perfect location! Steps to the beach. A 5 minute walk to the Pier and Main Street for all the shopping and food you can find. The home was clean on arrival and we had no issues at all with checking in and checking out. Checking in was seamless with the email that contained the address and entrance information. Checking out was a breeze!! Best part, no long list of chores to do before you leave. For once, your cleaning fee actually gets used for the cleaning instead of you doing it as a guest. A few things to know: 1. During the winter months, the city of seal Beach pushes a bunch of sand into a berm like shape on the beach. Unfortunately, this completely obstructs your view of the ocean. Definitely would have liked to know that before I spent the money that I did on an Ocean view property. Huge letdown for us since we specifically wanted the ocean view. It didn’t stop us from sitting on the deck and listening to the ocean… Just would have been nice to actually see it. 2. The living room space is a bit small, it would be nice if the furniture could actually accommodate as many guests as the home sleeps. The couch fits two people, and the one chair would need to be moved to see the TV. There are barstools and kitchen table chairs, but they are not comfortable for more than 20 minutes. 3. The garage is extremely small.. compact/economy size small. 4. Outdoor activities, such as bikes would be an awesome addition!
