Fabulous stay in this unique folly! it was lovely to see the sea and horses from the windows each day and there was plenty of activities to keep the children entertained close by - especially finding sea glass treasure on the local beaches.

We loved our stay here. The folly is amazing, so warm and cosy. We’re definitely coming back in the summer to enjoy the beaches more but a winter stay was just as enjoyable. Thank you so much, Liam, Jodi and Otis.

The tower is decorated lovely, it's comfortable, homely and immaculately clean with everything we needed in the kitchen. Set away from any main road it's perfect for quiet down time surrounded by fields. It's perfectly situated for visiting lots of beaches nearby and a short drive to Durham and the famous Seaham Hall beach for collecting sea glass.

Lovely property, so quite and beautiful. One thing, there isn't a microwave or toaster so if you're taking food, bear that in mind

We had a lovely stay even though the weather was stormy. The folly is beautiful and had everything we needed. The host has put heating on for our arrival and also helped us to find it in the dark which was much appreciated. The views from the property are amazing. Seaview and horses outside. We felt really comfortable and cozy and we'll definitely be back.

What a lovely setting - we really enjoyed our weekend stay in a mini castle. Quiet and dark, with pubs, shops and the coast a short drive away. We also walked to Seaham and back along the coast. Nice and cosy inside too. Thank you!

This is a beautiful property which is extremely peaceful. The horses were a lovely bonus. The one thing that would have made it perfect was if you could get up to the top to really see the amazing views. We would definitely come back.

The property is beautiful so carefully restored. I personally really like to sleep in a very dark room, so for me no wondow coverings in the bedrooms was difficult. I would recommend if you are happy with this.

We absolutely loved our stay here, the house/folly was really lovely, clean and well equipped. I had read on another review the bedrooms had no curtains so we took some bin bags and popped them at the windows, would recommended doing this if you like to sleep in darkness!
We would definitely be back and book again as our kids loved it and the horses! Thanks fkr a lovely stay 😀
