As a guest, you also have access to Sea Ranch community amenities including the pools, tennis courts, fitness center, and miles of trails. A recreation pass will be provided.

Reserve a tee-time at the golf course just a few steps down the road, enjoy the shared pool, saunas, and tennis courts at one of three recreation centers, or take a walk along the bluff trail to Gualala Point Regional Park and see all the different species of birds filling the skies.



Getting Around:

Should you need any provisions or a sunset cocktail, not to worry, the town of Gualala has charming markets, galleries, and restaurants located just a mile up Highway 1. Charles M. Schulz-Sonoma County Airport (STS) in Santa Rosa is the nearest airport, about 1.5 hours east. A car is essential for exploring the area.

Sea Ranch has three recreation centers with heated pools, saunas, and tennis courts. Access passes are provided with your stay -- check availability upon arrival as these shared amenities can be popular during peak times.



Exterior lighting is minimal by design to preserve the stunning dark sky -- bring a flashlight for evening walks and enjoy some of the best stargazing on the California coast.



Keep your eyes on the horizon from December through April, when gray whales migrate just offshore. The bluff trail is just a short walk away, with chances to spot whales and seals, watch waves crash against the offshore rocks, and enjoy sunsets over the Pacific Ocean.

Visit in spring, and the meadows explode with wildflowers. April through June is peak bloom season along the Sonoma Coast. The warmest months are June through September. Expect coastal fog most mornings that gives way to sunny afternoons.
