After long days exploring Amsterdam, the cool breeze off the water and gentle rocking of the boat was remarkably relaxing. Many of the major tourist sites are within walking distance. We arrived on a Thursday and our first night was relaxing. However, party goers from Friday night lead to a 2am awakening to yelling and screaming on Saturday morning. 「I stayed with 2 of my friends in this cute little boat. We had an amazing time where it was walking distance from the centre. Although there is no running water the host was very friendly and accomodate for us and always made sure we had what we needed. Definitely recommend if you want to stay on an affordable boat in the canals of Amsterdam!!」

Robertino, the host, is very communicative and welcoming, and also a great source for recommendations in the area. 「Wir hatten uns so sehr auf unseren Aufenthalt gefreut, mussten jedoch bei der Ankunft feststellen, dass das komplette Hausboot mit Spinnen übersäht war! Schrecklich! Der Bewohner nebenan warnte uns sogar, dass man aufpassen muss, dass einem keine Spinne über den Körper läuft. Selbst im Haus waren Spinnen. Robertino is as gracious a host as you could ask for and will do what ever he can to make your stay in Amsterdam wonderful. We cannot recommend this houseboat highly enough. 「It’s a sufficient place to stay, a good location, and the owner is lovely, but you have to climb up and down stairs that are almost like a ladder to get to your room and there is NO view whatsoever. It’s a barge, not really a houseboat. We are older, and wouldn’t have rented if we had known you couldn’t see out and ladder climbing was involved!」

「The stay was great and breakfast delivered every morning around 0830. We had breakfast in the Wheel house on the top deck. The next floor down was a sitting area with a small refrigerator but no microwave; the same floor gave you access to the toilet and shower. Bottom floor provided a bed, very-very small sink, and a place to hang a few things up. If you’re under 5’8” and barefoot you should not hit your head on the ceiling. I am 6 foot and 2 inches and hit my head a few times LOL… The owner...

「トラムの駅からとても近く、旅程を計画し易く便利です。周辺は、とても静かで、受付の方も皆さんとても感じが良いです。ソファーベットも使っての3人での宿泊でしたが、スーツケースを充分広げられるスペースがあります。途中のタオル交換もドアノブに依頼の札を掛けておくだけで、きちんと交換してくれていました。 ホテル内のレストランは、味も雰囲気も店員さんも完璧です、美味しく頂きました。 アムステルダムでの宿泊にとてもお勧めしたいホテルでした。コスパ最高でした。」
