Superbly located in the midst of open countryside in the heart of the picturesque Forge Valley, yet only 15 minutes’ drive to the seaside resort of Scarborough and 30 minutes to Whitby, this carefully furnished and equipped cottage has been converted from farm buildings. French windows look out over the open fields and a natural duck pond, while oil central heating throughout makes this a warm and extremely comfortable base. Enjoy lazing in the large lawned garden; children of all ages will enjoy playing on the open lawns, and a garden table and chairs are ideal for al fresco dining. For those interested in wildlife, there are hares, rabbits and pheasants to watch around the cottage. The property is also perfect for anyone interested in star gazing.

Perfect place to rejuvenate and relax. The location is very peaceful and pretty with plenty of lovely walks close by. The cottage had everything we needed and was very comfortable.
