Welcome to our charming holiday let in the heart of Scarborough's old town. Step into a time capsule as you enter this delightful family home, housed within a Georgian townhouse, complete with retro and antique furnishings that exude nostalgia and character. You won’t want to leave this charming, one-of-a-kind place.
The prime location is just steps away from all the attractions of Scarborough's South Bay.

Half Moon House is nestled in the heart of Scarborough's enchanting Old Town. Just a stone's throw away from Princess Street lies the iconic South Bay Beach. A short leisurely stroll will lead you to this beloved stretch of coastline, where you can build sandcastles with your family, or take a refreshing dip in the sea. You will also discover an array of amusement arcades, fish and chip shops, cafes and lively pubs and restaurants.

Welcome to our charming holiday let, a rustic haven filled with character. This delightful property boasts 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, offering a comfortable and inviting stay for you and your guests.

On the 1st floor, you'll find three bedrooms, each uniquely furnished to add to the rustic charm. The first bedroom features twin beds, providing versatility for your accommodation needs. The second bedroom houses cosy bunk beds, perfect for younger guests or the young-at-heart. The third bedroom offers a full size single bed.

The 1st floor also houses the two bathrooms. One bathroom offers a relaxing bath, inviting you to unwind and soak away any stress. The other bathroom boasts a wet room shower. On the 2nd floor, you'll discover two elegantly designed bedrooms, both generously equipped with double beds. You will also find an additional single room.

You can also escape to the cosy reading room on this floor. With a comfortable armchair and fabulous sea views out across the bay, a perfect place to relax and unwind!

For those who love to cook and dine together, the large dining room with seating for 10 guests is the ideal setting to gather for meals and create lasting memories. The fully equipped galley kitchen, with its rustic charm, offers everything you need to prepare delicious meals, and its connection to the garden makes it convenient for al fresco dining.
Outside, you'll be greeted by a large, peaceful, and private garden, for your relaxation and enjoyment. Ample garden furniture is arranged around the garden. Your furry friends will love the space to roam and play freely.

To add to your holiday enjoyment, there's a BBQ on hand, ready for your culinary adventures, adding a touch of outdoor cooking to your stay.

Access Scarborough by car, bus or train.
Half Moon House is 0.7 miles from the train station. a 15 minute walk or 5 minutes in a taxi.

The property has one TV in the living area.
There is also high-speed Wi-Fi, so please bring personal devices for streaming.

Street parking is available nearby.
Parking permits are provided.

This is a pet friendly house. A maximum of two small to medium-sized well-behaved pets are welcome, pet fees will be applied per pet.

Family holiday

Good sized accommodation for my family party of 8 with the use of a garden. Only a few minutes walk to beach, castle & other facilities in Scarborough. Host was helpful when asked about the local street parking scheme.
