From the patio, go into the cottage-style kitchen, with classic units, kitted out with everything a self-catering holiday needs. The spacious lounge/diner is perfect for relaxing, watch TV or a movie and listening to music through the smart speaker with the electric fire keeping you cosy. Enjoy your culinary creations at the dining table for four then head up the pretty staircase to the bedrooms: a spacious double and a cute twin room, both have good clothes storage to unpack into, as well as the family shower room. On warm days, you’ll want to take a drink out and sit on the patio, get the BBQ going and enjoy the sunshine while the pups potter in the enclosed garden.
Explore Ravenscar, ‘the town that never was’, once hailed as the next Scarborough, it’s home to a tearoom, a pub, and a hotel. Walk along the coast to Robin Hood’s Bay (4 miles), walk or cycle along the Cinder track, the disused railway line that ran between Scarborough and Whitby, and get out and explore the beautiful North York Moors. Visit the harbour, castle, Peasholm Park and theatres in Scarborough (10.5 miles), wander the gothic streets of Whitby (15 miles), walk up 199 Steps to see the Abbey and enjoy the amazing views up there.
