Eco friendly lodge that I stayed in Costa Rica. It's a beautiful place but it's a little far away from everything if you don't have a car. With a car it's 45 minutes away from Manuel Antonio Beach. Breakfast staff is friendly but owner was a little too grumpy for my taste.

"The area was beautiful, but although it says 13 minute walk to the national park, it's actually a 13 minute drive. Not a big deal but just in preparation. The owners were super nice, the restaurants that we could walk to were very good. Just a beautiful area I would highly recommend"

"Great place to stay! Book it. Big open space. Great balcony with views of the ocean and the fascinating street below. Awesome AC. Washer and dryer was a luxury we used constantly. Beach shower downstairs. Supermarket and restaurants next door. Great host Raul. Honestly it’s an oasis in an otherwise beautifully chaotic place. Surf lessons and beach rentals from Pablo across the street. Monkeys daily. There’s nothing like it in the immediate area. Book it!"

Vanessa was a pleasure to work with and the online pictures of the unit do not do it justice! Absolutely stunning setting with tons of wildlife and easy access to restaurants, grocery stores and activities. The secure parking was also a plus. We will definitely be back soon!"

"We had an amazing stay! Itza was very accommodating, and had wonderful recommendations. The house was absolutely beautiful and was just as fantastic as the pictures. As we were not the only guests in the house and weren’t booked in the main house we didn’t have access to the pool, but Itza generously allowed us to use the pool before the other guests arrived. There is nothing I would have changed it was a wonderful experience."

Jess communicated with us well in advance and gave us the details for a smooth checkin, many recommendations for activities, restaurants and local spots. She was communicative throughout our stay. The property is breathtaking, with an infinity pool overlooking the ocean. The amenities had everything we needed, including an outdoor grill for a nice home cooked dinner. "The staff made this vacation stay exceptional for us. The kindness went beyond what we could’ve imagined. The food here was better than the restaurants we’ve tried outside of the hotel. And the morning sunrise views were immaculate. The free breakfast included with the stay was great! And the monkeys swinging from tree to tree while eating was definitely exciting to watch. I highly recommend this stay if you’re in the area. "

"Our stay at Hotel Lirio was truly unforgettable! While it’s not a five-star hotel, the service made it feel like it was. Donald and Nicole were very helpful they treated us like family and went above and beyond to make our trip special. The hotel has a charming hacienda-style vibe, with a beautiful pool right in the middle surrounded by lush gardens. My kids practically lived in the pool, and I loved relaxing nearby while soaking in the peaceful atmosphere. Our room was clean and comfortable, breakfast was fresh and delicious each morning, and the location was perfect for exploring the area while still feeling like a quiet retreat. We left with full hearts and can’t wait to return!"
