This house was extremely disappointing. Three families traveled from Tampa to spend Thanksgiving together, but the property was in poor condition from the moment we arrived. The couch and floors were covered in popcorn, dishes were dirty, not enough utensils, etc. just overall not clean. The kitchen sink leaked into a bowl with mildew.Several major amenities listed were missing or unusable: no hot tub or fire pit, and the pool table was ripped and slanted. The patio and yard were dirty and nothing like the photos. Screens were broken, and the outdoor space was poorly maintained.Inside, the bedrooms were bare—only the master had nightstands—and all beds had only fitted sheets. We found trash and wrappers in the master room, gum and writing on the wall, a dirty toilet in one bathroom, and an open bar of soap in the shower.We initially decided not to complain, but when the upstairs AC stopped working, we contacted the host. She didn’t respond for three hours, so we reached out to VRBO. When VRBO connected us with her, she became argumentative, hung up, and then told VRBO she wanted us out that same night—at 10 PM before Thanksgiving—with two small children and a fridge full of food.VRBO persuaded her to let us stay the night, but she still forced us to leave by 10 AM Thanksgiving morning, ruining our plans.Overall, the property was unclean, misrepresented, and poorly maintained, and the host’s behavior was extremely unprofessional. I advise avoiding this property.

As advertised! Book with confidence

Very clean and spacious. Good for large groups. Great location. Host very friendly and responsive. Has bedroom and 1.5 baths downstairs in case you have folks who have trouble getting upstairs.

Excellent Communication

We had a few questions prior to check-in regarding parking and bedroom layout as well as a question about trash collection towards the end of our stay. Owner responded almost immediately every time. Overall, we enjoyed the house and its proximity to both historic Savannah and Tybee Island. We made friends with neighbors at the park and it sounded like there have been issues with rowdy guests which explained the damages we’d seen to the pool table and some other items around the house.

Bachelorette trip

Stayed for the weekend for my friend’s bachelorette party weekend. Sooo much space for 10 grown women to sleep and get ready and hang out. Close enough to Savannah downtown that you can drive or Uber in under 15 minutes, but far enough that it’s nice and quiet at night. We also did a sunset cruise right up the road at bull river marina! 10/10 weekend

Wonderful vacation home

Even though we didn’t have any lights for our 2 days stay .because of the Hurricane we really enjoyed ourselves. The host was really great she kept checking up on us . Other then that it’s a wonderful home and very quiet I I would be give this home a 5 plus more stars.

Nice property but somewhat worn with. I Bella and whistles. Listing notes that it sleeps more than is feasible in terms of beds. Lovely location next to a park. One concern I have is that we have been blamed for breaking a panel on a trundle bed we didn’t use that was already broken. The communication I received about this was quite unkind. We did a great job keeping the place clean and organized during our stay and were hardly in the house. Maybe 5 hours in total. There were two blow up mattresses but couldn’t find a pump. Make sure you buy the VRBO insurance because you never know what you will be blamed for. The owners left a bottle of wine which was kind. The travel time to the city center was about 18 minutes which was great. House was quite expensive.

Wonderful Christmas

The house was perfect for our Christmas holiday. Our children, their spouses, toddlers, and infants were quite comfortable in this house. It was clean and had great amenities. The guys enjoyed the ping pong table. Kitchen was well stocked. Overall, a great house for this growing family.

Short Stay

Property size was as expected and capable of facilitating amount of persons identified on the add. Host was responsive to immediate needs, e.g. more towels, pots and pans, ice maker. However, for a short stay, it is necessary to have the place in good order, not to have the inconvenience of having to wait for fixes. There were numerous issues that need resolving to make this a positive memorable stay, not an ignoble one. Where door locks do not work, perimeter lightning is lacking, available equipment is ready to fall apart or break, kitchen drawers and cabinets are dirty and full of clutter, remnant left over food items are beyond useable, and bath towels are well worn. All in all, first impression was not pleasant, and validated by stay. Place needs deep cleaning, especially if extraneous charges of approximately $1,000 are added to costs.

Spacious and great location

We had a large group and this house had plenty of space and beds for us. Also, it was located near downtown and Tybee Island so it allowed us to stay on schedule with our planned itinerary. The host was pleasant and timely when responding to any messages. We were happy with our stay.

Great house for a guys weekend

Great location, plenty of room in the house and Ubers were easy to get to downtown Savannah and the beach. Would highly recommend!

Worst VRBO Experience

House cleanliness and amenities were awful! Furniture, floors and carpeting completely filthy! Air duct filters caked in dirt and we had to replace. The towels provided were like rags we would use to wash our cars. After trying to wash the dishes in dishwasher multiple times finally discovered water had been turned off to it as well as hot water to kitchen sink. Owner thought we had done this when brought to her attention. A couple of things in disrepair. And it is a 4 bedroom house, not 5 as stated in ad. We expected much nicer stay based on their supposed 5 star reviews. Would Definitely NOT recommend this place!!

Excellent accommodations, close to Historic Savannah and the Beach

The property is exactly as pictured, beautiful house and great location. We needed something large last minute and Julie was wonderful. While our stay was brief, it was the escape we needed. I will always remember this trip and Julie's kindness. I will definitely refer friends and family visiting Savannah to this property.

This property was perfect for our stay. We had plenty of space and our boys had a great time playing wiffle ball in the vacant lot next door! Julie was wonderful through the whole process.

Absolute Perfection

This house and stay were amazing! Perfectly located in a quiet neighborhood between Savannah and Tybee Island. Huge house, big yard, pool table, ping pong. Everything you could need and more! This place was nothing short of perfect. The hosts also accommodated our group of 12 people from 3 families meeting there. 5 stars cause more aren't available.
