「ホテルのおばさんの愛想のなさはこれまで経験したことがないほどでした。ネットの接続がうまくゆかなくて、尋ねたがつっけんどんの返事。おまけに玄関のドアのカギは調子が悪く、一度夜に外から帰ってきて開かず、携帯電話も持っていなかったので連絡もできず、シャットアウトされてしまった。寒い風の吹く中を。ホテルは交通量の多い道路沿いのためやかましく、立て付けが悪いため隙間風がヒューヒュー唸っている。深夜に、目の前のパブで酔っぱらった連中がケンカ乱闘騒ぎを起こし、警察と救急が来る始末。」

「Staff were very attentive and respectful. Nothing was toomuch trouble. The hotel is in a very central location close to some excellent restaurants.」

「Air conditioning - there isn't any! My room was like a sauna and it made it very difficult to sleep. The staff tried to help with a mobile air con unit but to limited effect. Otherwise, the stay was lovely, staff superb, wonderful breakfast. Also, be aware that the "cheaper" rooms are a long way from the main hotel - bit cheeky really.」

「Town Terminusのバス停から徒歩で向かいました。直前の角を曲がった後は目印となるものがないため不安を覚えますが、ドイツ銀行を過ぎたところに目立たない入口があります。部屋にはひと通りのものが揃っており快適でした。WiFiの速度も問題ありませんでした。」

「A family run hotel, nothing is too much trouble. The bar meals are superb and come out piping hot! The staff are attentive and always met with a smile and engage in conversation and very knowledgeable. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Walking distance of the main town and free parking. Pool was lovely and breakfast had a good selection catering for all tastes. Book for bar meals advised as very busy with visitors and locals, you will see why when you try the menu」

「The hotel staff were incredibly accommodating and helpful. I wanted to send a pet container in advance to enable a ferry trip home with my dog. They agreed to store it for me for some days before I arrived and they were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Delightful people. A very dog-friendly hotel maintained to a very high standard of cleanliness. The breakfast room (and breakfast) both lovely.」
