It was not what I expected when I booked, between rating and price you’re very much deceived. However it was acceptable for that one evening and to be leaving next morning. The rooms were cleaned ok but there was no wash cloths, or hand towels. The linen in the bathroom that was there was old and thinned. Walls were also very thin. Could hear conversation next door. Continental breakfast and pillows was the most complimented service of the stay.

The place itself is really nice but what got me was the lack of complimentary WiFi without being pressured to sign up for Marriott membership or whatever. As someone who works from my phone, I need good internet access and it was frustrating having to only use my 5G data which wasn’t a lot of service where I was. The beds were very comfortable, the air conditioning worked really well. The whole place was clean and nice. Just the Internet thing bothered me!

The person at the check in desk was friendly and helpful. The room itself was on the smallish size, but it was immaculate. The king sized bed was very comfortable. The hotel in downtown Albany was only a three minute walk to The MVP Arena which our destination for this trip. We also really enjoyed the complementary breakfast the next morning before we departed. We did have to rush down to the breakfast area a bit since breakfast was only available until 9am. Also, due to the hotel’s location, there is no on site parking.

We requested an accessible room, however we were told that there would be only 1 bed. I guess whoever designed these rooms has no idea what it is like to travel with a disabled person. Each need their own bed. So we decided to take a room with 2 beds that wasn't considered accessible. The entry way was very tight to accommodate luggage, a walker and the luggage trolley. In the bathroom the toilet was so low it was extremely difficult for a disabled person to use. No grab bars, poor lighting, my husband ended up falling in the night and scraping his forehead. Mattresses were very uncomfortable, carpet looked stained. When we asked for a new mattress we were told we would have to change rooms. This was too much work for us so we stayed, and would there be any guarantee that the other room had better mattresses?

This property is clean and nicely located away from busy traffic. The lobby and all areas of this hotel were clean and well maintained. The breakfast was good and appealing(not over done). I would definitely stay here again. My only complaint is the vacuuming early in the mornings. It didn’t really bother me, but If you’re trying to sleep in it could be bothersome.
