"What a little gem this is. Such a friendly and helpful staff! There wasn't a time we entered the lobby we were not greeted with a smile and "hello". Pool area is clean and the way they've placed the tropical plants and trees keeps it cozy and secluded in an urban area. It was clean, pool bar was excellent and bartender was so helpful with cocktail suggestions and answered questions about local eateries. This is an older hotel that Hilton outfitted in a simple yet clean way. The doors to rooms are nostalgic outside entry, but we had no issues with noise. There a bar restaurant that shares their parking lot, Geiko, it was very good, plus a Italian food truck just outside pool area. The breakfast is simple, nothing fancy, but totally acceptable. They offer cereal, vanilla yogurt with various toppings, bread, bagels, muffins with many toppings as well. Hard boiled eggs, fruit and juices, plenty to get the day started. The hotel offers 24hr coffee and tea. There are items for sale for snacks, drinks etc outside breakfast hours. The area is safe and plenty of lighting and we just overall were so pleased with out stay! Thanks to all the staff"

"This property was a little taste of an island paradise. It had so many beautiful plants, trees, fountains, paths that there was a surprise around every corner. The pool area was beautiful and the tiki bar a fun place for locals and guests. The room also had a mini kitchen if you are staying several days and want to do some cooking. We had a private little outdoor sitting area. We highly recommend. It’s also just before the bridge to Siesta Key. A local recommended Turtle Beach. We saw a beautiful sunset. "

"My husband and I had a lovely weekend at Hibiscus Suites. The staff was friendly and the location was convenient, but it’s on a very busy street. It appears they have done renovations, however, it was apparent that they cut corners on the bathroom and there was very little cold water, for some reason, in the shower so we took hot showers. These things were pretty minor, though, considering the price we paid and the proximity to everything Siesta Key. We would stay again"

"I made my reservation months in advance and later needed to add a night to the beginning of my trip. I was told this couldn’t be done under one reservation and would require two separate bookings. Confirmed via email with office staff. However, on the very first morning of my trip I had a very upsetting experience. While I was outside quietly enjoying my coffee and looking forward to a peaceful vacation, a cleaning staff member abruptly entered my rental space and aggressively told me, “You were supposed to check out at 10am.” Her tone was confrontational and unprofessional. I firmly explained that I had an active reservation through Thursday. Without any acknowledgment or apology, she turned and walked away, still visibly irritated. The interaction left me shaken. I immediately called the office, upset and in tears, to report what had happened. I was told the property manager would be notified and would reach out to me as soon as possible. That never happened. I received no follow-up and no attempt to address the situation. The only communication I’ve received since then has been requests for photos for their social media and prompts to leave a review. While the property itself is nice, the lack of professionalism and complete disregard for the guest experience make this a place I would not recommend. Do yourself a favor and pick a place where guests are treated with basic respect."

"The area is quiet. The house is in a side road near a strip plaza. It’s cute and good for the tiny home experience. The microwave in our home looked pretty damaged on the inside. We did not use it but the stove top worked great!"

"It was a great little place and served just the purpose we needed it for. Van, the host, was great with communication and offering activity ideas, etc. Beach wasn't far for all our little outings. All in all, a great stay! However, worth noting, when I chose to rent this listing, it did say it had a whirlpool/hot tub as well as the heated pool. When I arrived there was no hot tub and no word of said hot tub or of not having one. I do understand things happen, and its no longer in the listing, but a heads up could of went along way...it wasn't the only house on my radar. Had it been important to me I could of chose elsewhere, they could of offered to make up for it in other ways. Not saying a word and hoping we wouldn't notice when we arrived didn't leave a good taste with me. It did not ruin my trip by any means but still, ehh.And I also didn't really care for receiving a text an hour before check-in saying to click this link and pay this fee before I will receive an access/entry code. (After VRBO has already sent me an entry code via email) I was well aware of an extra "resort" fee outside of the VRBO fees, they mention it often in the listing. I would of just appreciated receiving it prior to my mid arrival travels. It was an unnecessary last minute frustration I could of went without while navigating travel. Again, it all worked out fantastically, just some things worth mentioning. "

"The property was very welcoming to our dog. It had a fenced in backyard with the screen didn’t porch. So she could come and go as she wanted when we were home. The biggest drawback was the bed. One side was up against the wall, so you could only get out of bed one way or crawl down to the bottom of the bed. It was definitely an inconvenience. The location was close to many things. It was very accessible to Siesta Beach. If the traffic wasn’t bad. Overall, I don’t think I would stay there again mainly because of the bed position."

"This is nothing of what is advertised. This is a bait and switch location and the pictures are NOT current. Outside area is falling apart, dirty, and just plain shocking. Refused to spend a single hour here and rented another property. Currently have a claim open with Vrbo and my bank to get my money back. Host was seemingly lovely to work with but was never told the property was not up to par with description and advertised pictures. Beyond disappointed after flying in from out of state. "
