had a lovely stay at the Vegerra in September. The hotel was full but never seemed busy. Although some might say this is not a 4* hotel, by Greek standards it definitely is. Good size room with full size fridge and TV, cleaned daily with fresh towels. Staff were always available and very helpful. Breakfast was varied and plentiful. Didn't go in the pools but the free sunbeds on the beach, waitress service and 8-s tunes from the bar were fantastic. Great location on the beach front with a free public car park just behind. Would definitely stay again.

Great location. Staff in reception, bar & breakfast were very helpful & friendly. Economy room was set below ground level, so no view of any sort. However, room was fine. Hot food at breakfast was lukewarm at best. Fruit choice consisted of tinned peach slices, apples and oranges in a basket. There was water melon for first few days but this then stopped. Evening meals - food was good with varied options (we were half board). Hotel was smart & well maintained with nice pool. Good value for money overall. Special mentions must go to John in reception & Nick at the bar who were both excellent: very happy, friendly & helpful.

We loved our stay at Veggera Hotel! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, right by the beach, and the two pools were fantastic for our kids (however mostly couples without kids here so still vall). There were always plenty of sunbeds available, both by the pools and on the beach, which made it very relaxing. We originally stayed at Veggera for four nights before spending three nights in Oia, but we enjoyed Veggera so much that we decided to come back for our last night and skip our final day in Oia. We would definitely stay here again!

Couldn’t be closer to beach. Exceptionally friendly staff including reception, ladies at breakfast, waiting staff and Elsa, Maria, Taryk. Very clean, amenities good. Great sized room (economy triple) and quality food.

The hotel is in a fabulous location just across the road from the beach. When we arrived we received a lovely welcome from the staff, and throughout our stay. Very helpful with information and organising our transfers. Loved the breakfast too.
