"Wonderful except that all restaurants were closed for construction while we were there and the heated pool was cold. Beautiful city views with wall to wall windows, very clean, friendly staff, good vip perks."

"This properties location was great. So much at walking distance. Loved having a 711 across the street to grab snacks during our trip. We watched a comedy show at the theater which was walking distance as well. The hotel itself is very modern, I was a bit nervous with taking our 10, 9, and 7 year old but it was honestly fine. They loved the pool and were able to swim and be happy. I was nervous if people or the staff would complain about kids being kids and having fun but no, they let them play and others swam with them. The only complaint was parking was so expensive, basically another nights stay! But what made it better was the staff all there were quick and polite. I would most likely to stay there again. "

"I contacted the hotel a few days before our stay. We were getting off a cruise ship, in the morning, and inquired about an early check in. The response was "yes, as long as we have rooms available, you can check in early". No mention of the $75 fee for early check in (11 AM). It was either pay it, or sit in their lobby for 5 hours with all our luggage. We checked out 6 hours early, at 5 AM, because we had an early flight. How about giving me my $75 back. We used the room for less time then had we checked in at 4 pm and checked out at 11. And what's with no coffee available in the lobby? Never been to a hotel anywhere that didn't have it. The facility was nice, but the atmosphere was less than pleasant. I wouldn't come back."

"Staff were friendly and attentive. The room was very nice and clean. The pool is next to the freeway, down a set of stairs. It is very nice, has good seating, however it is below the dumpsters for the kitchen and the lids for the dumpster were open and hanging over the lounge chair area. We were concerned we'd end up under a bag of trash while laying out."

"Overall the hotel was nice and cute but the staff quality is quite missing. When I arrived I noticed that there’s no electricity from the outlets close to the desk. Both phones were not working (as I was trying to ask housekeeping to pick up my laundry). I went to front desk asking the phones to be fixed and laundry to be picked up to which got the response that they will send a technician to fix the phones but I will need to call to get laundry pick up. About 30 mins passed by the technician came and said that the cable is broken and requires a bigger fix on weekday, but he put a temporary fix for the phones. Then I called housekeeping to pick up the laundry, waited for an hour and nobody came, called again and waited for another 1.5 hours and still no one. Then I called to front desk complaining about it and finally someone showed up to pick up the laundry. Overall I felt that the quality of service I’m receiving is not as smooth as expected and it took quite some effort to get a simple task addressed. Plus the cable broken was quite out of expected for a hotel of this price range. I also wrote them an email to offer this piece of feedback but got completely ignored. At this stage I'm really disappointed with how the hotel handles customer experience!"

"Fantastic location in Hollywood area and so close to tons of shops and restaurants. Good parking option at the ovation if you decide not or pay the price for valet parking. Furniture conditions could be improved inside the hotel specially the doors to the rooms and the TV stands and bathrooms. I was very happy with our start otherwise."
