Beautiful villa, wonderful hospitality
I loved staying at Villa Floresco. Mindy was a wonderful host. It was clear she has thought of everything she'd like her guests to have & experience. I felt very safe, comfortable, and relaxed there. Beyond the views, the bed and the shower were fantastic. I'll be staying here whenever I visit Santa Barbara again. Thank you, Mindy!

My husband and 8 month old stayed here for several nights during our wedding wedding. It was everything we could have asked for and more. The VIEW is spectacular, I mean really incredible. You feel like you're whisked away to an Italian countryside. The unit itself is very private and has all the amenities you'd need. The bed IS SO COMFY (we even checked the mattress type so we could get something similar). And the décor is flawless. Loved the high ceilings, as well. Everything is actually just perfect. Mindy was super communicative and helpful. We will definitely be back, this place is a true gem.

wunderschönes Apartment in herrlicher Lage
alles ist genau so wie auf den Fotos - eigentlich in real noch schöner. Das Apartment ist sehr hochwertig und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet - alles ist bis in die Details stilvoll und in tip-top Zustand. Die Aussicht auf die Hügel oberhalb von Santa Barbara ist einfach nur ein Genuss - es sieht tatsächlich der Toskana ähnlich. Mindy und ihr Mann waren supernette Gastgeber - z.B. als wir ankamen und schon echt müde waren, hat ihre ganze Familie beim reintragen unseres Gepäcks geholfen. Wir haben uns hier wirklich sehr wohl gefühlt.

The view is the art-
The overall feel is comfortable elegance. Soft colors and everything you need in one late open space. The view of the mountains is an activity of its own.

Great property! Clean, comfortable and wonderful view of the mountains! Communication was prompt and clear from the host. Sena even greeted us when we arrived. The bottle of wine and lemons were a nice touch!

The view from the deck was beautiful, the facility was spotless and all the amenities and little touches, welcome note, fresh lemons, bottle of wine, robes in the closet, etc., made this a perfect place for us to celebrate our anniversary. The room had everything, the kitchen had every tool you could think of, even the dishes were beautiful. We changed our two nights of dinner plans in town and instead shopped at a local grocery store and had our dinners on the lovely deck while enjoying the view. We would highly recommend staying here. Lots of personal touches made this a warm and inviting place to stay.

BEAUTIFUL
It's a little adventure into the hills, and very much worth it. The view is stupendous! There's even a laundry facility available. Parking is tight, and be aware that there's a flight of stairs to navigate, but the room is beautiful!

Private and Peaceful Place with a Fantastic Host
This casita is very private, quiet, clean and beautifully furnished. We enjoyed the lush setting and the panoramic views all the way to the ocean. The sunsets were stunning. Our host Mindy was very warm, engaging and enthusiastic in helping us learn about enjoyable places to visit and eat during our stay. At the same time, she was quite respectful of our privacy. We highly recommend this property and certainly plan to stay there during future visits.

Stunning Views and Perfect Location
The Villa was an incredible place to stay in Santa Barbara. It had everything we needed to relax and unwind. The location, just a few minutes from the Mission, was convenient. We enjoyed the peace and quiet each night after adventure-filled days. Everything was spotless, the bed was very comfortable and the shower felt luxurious. Mindy and Ian were wonderful hosts, so friendly and accommodating. They put some extra special touches into their home that make this place really wonderful. Cozy Studio in Excellent Location
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this well-appointed studio. The host, Mindy, could not have been more friendly and accommodating of my needs. Her recommendations for restaurants and golf courses were spot on, and added to the enjoyment of my visit. The property location is just above the Mission Santa Barbara, an impressive piece of California history. From there, access to the downtown area of this charming community is another few minutes. Without hesitation I would rent again from Mindy if my travel plans call for a return to Santa Barbara..

Great holidays
We felt very comfortable in Mindy's villa. Even before arrival we had close contact with Mindy. We received a lot of information in advance. After the warm welcome we went to the villa: everything was there and if we needed something, we got it immediately. Many great tips from Mindy for excursions and good restaurants. The villa is in the mountains and you have a great view of Santa Barbara and the ocean. If we go to California again, definitely back to Mission Canyon to Mindy. Many greetings to Ian, Fran and Sena. Gorgeous place
After a long week of traveling through California and staying in hotels, this was just the oasis we needed. The pictures online do not do it justice. It is a vibe, beautifully put together in a gorgeous setting. Mindy could not have been kinder or more accommodating. I have two teenagers 15 and 17 who insisted I write a review about how amazing this place is. We loved it!

Santa Ynez Mountains foothills get-away
It feels l like you are staying in a Tuscan hill town. Great property; great distant Ocean views; great location in the hills above Santa Barbara in the Santa. Minor comment for this single-room property is that the curtains don't shield the light, so for those who prefer a dark bedroom on weekend morning, this is an issue the property can easily fix.

Perfect Santa Barbara Retreat
Even better than the description! Gorgeous, serene landscape view out huge sliding glass doors that open onto a cozy deck. Lovely at sunrise or watching the sunset over the ocean! The host couple are friendly, helpful, and very responsive. The space is warm, tastefully decorated, and inviting. Linens and bedding all super comfortable. Quick drive to downtown Santa Barbara, and 45 minutes to Solvang or Ojai. Great hiking! A really wonderful place!

The studio apartment is well located, 10-15 minutes away from just about everything. It is big enough for a couple and well-equipped. The host Mindy makes sure everything is perfect. The view is breathtaking and the neighborhood is quiet. We were there for a week and enjoyed every minute. We highly recommend Villa Floresco for a memorable stay in Santa Barbara!

Quaint Stay at the Canyon
My family and I were hesitant to reserve this property as we are not accustomed to staying in a Studio as a family unit. I know that sounds awful and we know we are very fortunate to be able to travel the country and typically stay in 2 bedroom resort units. We are so very grateful we stumbled upon this studio when visiting family in Santa Barbara. Although small, we couldn't ask for a better place. It had everything we needed, and was enough for a week's vacation. Mindy and Sena have thought of everything. The welcome pack was very informative. The amenities in the unit made me feel at home. They have literally thought of everything you may need traveling across the country and couldn't pack. As other reviews have stated, the views of the canyon were absolutely spectacular during the day and at sunset. The location is on a quiet street and we felt we could easily get to where we needed to go. Family lives in Goleta and it was so easy to get to. In future travels to Santa Barbara we will definitely look to stay here before considering other properties. As for hosts, you couldn't ask for kinder people. Thank you for a great trip. Villa Floresco is a fabulous place.

Lovely Romantic Getaway
This may have been our favorite VRBO stay ever. This guest house in the Mission Valley area of Santa Barbara offered every amenity and met every possible need. The unit offers a spectacular view of the valley and mountains from a private balcony/deck complete with gorgeous sunsets each nice. The unit itself was decorated in a charming manner and the bed was comfortable. We had access to laundry room and the host offered us chairs and umbrella for the nearby beach. We would recommend this home to anyone and hope to return ourselves sometime.

Mindy's home is fabulous!!!
Mindy's home is beautiful and extremely comfortable. Everything is first class. The villa is a studio but so well equipped that it lives much larger; you have everything you need. And the view is absolutely fabulous!!! You see sunset over the mountains all the way to the ocean. Mindy and her family could not have been nicer!! Go relax and enjoy!

Beautiful Getaway
The property is amazing with gorgeous views of the hills down to the city and the ocean below. The patio is amazing to enjoy the peace and quiet of chirping birds in the morning and beautiful sunsets in the evening. The location is excellent with being right next to the Botanical Gardens and the Old Mission and only minutes away from Downtown and the beach, Mindy was an amazing host and graciously presented us with a bottle of local wine fresh lemons from the tree in the backyard. We loved our stay and will recommend to anyone!

This is a studio detached from a main house. It is very private and has incredible views. My husband and I found the main bed super comfortable and my teen age son said the pull out couch was also great. The host is very friendly and accomodating. If there was anything we needed, they brought it over. The place is a short drive from town, the Mission, the botanical gardens and several hikes. We were there for my son's college graduation so we had lots of plans and were not there a lot.

This is a lovely little private villa tucked up into the side of Mission Canyon with views across Santa Barbara. The hosts are delightful–friendly, down-to-earth, considerate. The location is remarkable. The house is lovely, very private, quiet, well-furnished. Easy access to the SB Botanical Gardens, 2 miles to downtown. Hiking everywhere. A gem of a spot.

A breath of fresh air
This is our second time here and we are just as in awe as we were the first time! Mindy & Ian are gracious hosts! They really do the extra things to make sure we have everything we need for a relaxing trip. The view is one of a kind- it's absolutely breath taking. They are so close to several beaches and hikes(10-15 minutes). We love the old Catholic Churches in the area- the Mission is beautiful and don't forget to check out the incredible rose garden with over a thousand roses! So many great restaurants. The bed is comfy and has extra pillows. Bathroom is great. We appreciate the water filter and didn't use the other kitchen items but you could buy groceries and cook things stovetop or in the microwave. It is so private and quiet! I am not a morning person but I always keep the curtain open so I can see that gorgeous view every day!
