"The hotel is far away from other tourist places but it was a beautiful hotel on the beach. The food was great, the pool wasn’t too crowded and the drinks were readily available. Only downsides are that the dance club opened up too late and the beds were hard. "

"The hotel is stunning. Great architecture. The restaurant is also very nice. CAUTION - Since it's located in a national reserve, you must be in before 8PM. The forest service will close the gate. I arrived at 8:02PM and the gate was closed. Fortunately one side was open so I went through there. Account for the windy and steep roads. Also, the rain. You will be able to leave until the park open up. After 10PM the front desk closes so you will be dealing with security. Our room faced the volcano which was amazing. The room are spacious and clean. "

"Very professional personal . Loved the hotel. Now it's not a fancy hotel or too updated. But it is very clean and everything works. Its not updated because it was the first hotel evee made in Santa Ana, so its historical and the city wants to keep it aa original aa possible. It does have ac. Very safe and secure. Highly recommended. "

"The view was amazing! Lake and windows truly gorgeous. Cool shower, TV with Netflix, interesting capsule rooms. I’d say the private pool is tiny and not really worth it. The property was so fun to walk around, as it had restaurants, mini golf, playground, fruit trees, trampoline, other pools, etc."

"For foreigners, you have to go 20 minutes down a rock road which runs along the lake. Plenty of options for restaurants along the way. Fairly easy to locate, I would stress that you do not attempt to drive to or from here at night because of the road. The restaurant/bar on site had great food and I ate here each night. Decent alcohol selection. The views are the lake make it worth staying and only a hour or less out from major sites, I used it as my home base. Staff were fantastic "

"This small hotel is a Gem. Area is definitely a surfing paradise. We were closing our trip at El Salvador we wanted to visit the capital, mountains and beaches definitely not disappointed. We are not surfers but we enjoy the atmosphere of this hotel is family friendly, great service their open menu for breakfast is a plus’s, is centric and the ocean views & pool very relaxing. Staff was always attentive "
