The pool was great but the hours were way too short. It only opens at 10 am and closed at 6 pm. I like working out early and my kids like swimming after dinner. The breakfast was fine with a nice cappuccino machine for all your coffee types.

We had a lovely time here, and the staff were super helpful, attentive and friendly. We did have a loose door handle on the bathroom and they came and fixed it within minutes of us letting them know. I would recommend travellers bring a bug/mosquito repellent if travelling in summer/august as there are a lot of mosquitoes in the area. Beware of the table clothes in the breakfast room as they were hiding under there, we sat outside which was lovely. They were also very helpful with suggestions on where to go, and had lovely Prosecco which we enjoyed and would highly recommend. We definitely did like your Prosecco!

Esperidi Resort was excellent, the property was beautiful, with lemon trees and greenery everywhere. Our cabin was quaint and comfortable. The shower was nice but the drain would clog everytime we showered. The pool was very nice and relaxing but the bar never opened. They didn't have a restaurant, only a dining room for the continental breakfast. Gigi, at reception was wonderful, very helpful, friendly and funny. He recommended the boat tour to Capri which was an incredible experience, I highly recommend this tour. He also recommended Trattoria Da Emilia in Sorrento which was delicious and the location was gorgeous. I would definitely come back to stay at Esperidi, and will recommend to friends and family.

Very unhygienic hotel

Worst hygiene. Mould in bathroom, damp in room, no soap provided, breakfast paper table cloths not changed in our entire stay, dirty cutlery, room full of mosquitoes. In addition reception played very loud music in the early hours meaning we didn’t sleep.

We stayed at this hotel in 2017 on our honeymoon and it was lovely back then, but our opinion is that the standards have all slipped. We found it unclean (bugs in the bed, standard of cleaning, replacement of towels, bathroom mould), the facilities were not of the standard you'd expect for the money (breakfast, pool bar, WiFi, laundry services, air con, toiletries etc.) and we ended up leaving early as a result. It's a shame as it used to be a nice hotel, but it's as though they have done no maintenance or upkeep in 5 years and have cut corners. When we complained the venue disagreed with us even though we have photos and videos, and said in a patronising way they were 'thrilled with our attitude' - so despite us sending a calm complaint we got an unprofessional response and won't be staying there again.

Would not recommend at all, there was something in the ceiling of our room. Every night it was scratching and running around which kept us awake but was a massive concern. It sounded like there were multiple rats in there and the walls. We also had an issue with ants in the room which were over the bed and wall. Staff were not interested in the issue of the rats asking if the noise was a lion. The bed which was claimed as queen size was two terrible single beds pushed together. There was a bottle of shampoo and shower gel in the bathroom that were either covered in soap or left open. There was also some rubbish left on the side as we checked in too. We left early in the end and paid for another hotel.

Left after 2 nights of 7 night stay.

Last room in the village, Dusty (wife got sick), Damaged walls, Mould in bathroom, No tea/coffee and No internet except in lobby (my fault but 2022? Really!) Like a caravan park accom, Breakfast meat was off, Hot water for coffee wasn’t hot, Glasses all shapes and sizes showing they are broke and cutting corners Restaurant closed Bar closed Owner came in and took over tv in lobby when I was watching Power points were dodgy Hair dryer worked but was scary and pp fell out when taking it off Beds were of the 50s with buttons in them which stuck in your back Ants at breakfast table and floor Nowhere near anything. Broken doors in cupboards Pillows like rocks Dooner was just a shell and smelly Everything was old Pictures are deceiving on site Wife sick with dust we had to leave and go elsewhere Had to ask for toilet paper 4 shampoos and no soap. Had to ask for it Vents dirty. Do I need to go on,,

Decent Hotel in the suburbs

We enjoyed our stay here, the staff are very good, helpful and very friendly . The rooms were clean and it was very quiet and free from traffic noise. We purchased the 8 Euro per person breakfast buffet option, and this was good but repetitive. The buffet tended to run out of stuff if you came late, and the used tables weren't always bussed. We are normal size people. Our room was "cruise cabin size" about 3.5 meter X 3.5 meter. 2 single beds barely fitted in the room . The bathroom was a decent size but the shower was also "cruise cabin" size. Don't drop your shampoo, you will need to step out to retrieve it. If we visited again and I was staying for a longer time, I might upgrade for a larger room. There is a small patio outside each room, unfortunately at the time we visited many of the the guests were smokers so we avoided sitting outside in the fog. That's a problem with Italy in general. Although it says it's in Sorrento it's actually in St'Agnello and the rail station that is close by is one stop up the line . Not a big deal for us, and St Agnello is very nice . You can walk into Sorrento in 30 minutes or so. It's pretty flat but some cobblestones. Convenient for both Pompeii and Ercalono which are on the same rail line.

We were disappointed with his "resort" but still had a good time. I would only recommend if you are getting a great deal and are well prepared. Here was our experience. Cons There really is limited Wifi (near the pool). Parking (reserved in advance at 15eur/day) Questionable cleaning: Extra pillows in cupboard were clearly not washed between visitors - they smelled so bad. We also found items under the couch and bed. Mold in the bathroom and shower. You get one key to lock the door and it is also the only way to lock from the inside. There is no restaurant beyond the "breakfast" they offer from 7am-10am which was awful. No bar except for the Snack bar open at the pool (open 10am-6pm). There is nothing to do at the resort at night after the pool closes. No music, nothing. Smoke detector in our room was missing. No "do not disturb " sign provided. I made one which they ignored once, and proceeded to put the stinky pillow I mentioned above ON the bed. I slept with a towel down that night. Pros The grounds are lovely and well kept. Great location! Amazing views, tasty restaurants and a grocery stire within a short walk. Easy access to Sorrento markets, tours, Pompeii etc. Decently spacious room (family suite). Mini fridge in room. ThePool! My kids had a blast. Not too busy and a fuse ball table in the seating area. Staff was nice, even if spread too thin. The young man working in the pool area was kind and attentive while our not-so-strong swimmers were in the pool.

Hotelli lähellä juna-asemaa. Hotelli kaikinpuolin ok. Aamiainen heikohko.(ruoka loppu) huoneen sänky hajalla. Pyynnöstä huolimatta sängyn jouduimme korjaamaan itse.patja katkennut keskeltä. Siivous jäi välillä tekemättä. Pyyhkeet vietiin pois mutta uusia pyyhkeitä ei tilalle. Pyytämällä saatiin uudet pyyhkeet. WC paperia ei tuotu lisää. Pyytämällä sekin järjestyi. Respassa oli oikein mukava henkilökunta.

My family loved staying at this resort. We stayed in a villa that gave us space inside and out. We even had our own private yard with citrus trees! The location was great-just outside the hustle and bustle of Sorrento, but close enough to walk there, close to an amazing beach, and walking distance from the train and bus stations. The staff was very accommodating and friendly. I highly recommend!

Much better than expected, highly recommended!

I was a little unsure what to expect before arrival having read some reviews, but I was very pleasantly surprised. We stayed in a Luxury Studio and it was very nice. Really spacious, had been recently renovated, the outdoor space and furniture was very good. Air con was excellent and really quite. Bathroom, shower pressure, water temp and quality of towels etc. was excellent. The pool area is really nice and there was always plenty of sunbeds available, even for the first weekend of August. The only downside is there is no food available onsite (apart from breakfast). I really think Esperidi a missing a trick not having at least a snack menu available for lunch at the pool. Breakfast is included in the room rate, but was mediocre. There are plenty of good restaurants and a couple of good bars nearby that are better quality and less busy than the restaurants in the centre of Sorrento. Overall I would highly recommend Esperidi Resort for a stay in the Sorrento area.

Purtroppo essendo sulla carta un 4stelle ci saremmo aspettati molto di più di quello che in effetti è. Struttura un po vecchia, si dovrebbe ristrutturare, togliendo il copriletto sulle lenzuola abbiamo trovato un pesciolino della polvere, il servizio colazione e la colazione molto scadente, servita su compilazione di un foglio. Per fortuna è stato il soggiorno di una sola sera.

One of the worst ive stayed at. No soap or shampoo, wet towels, awful black mold thru out shower, light bulbs out, holes in sheets, old mattress pad was the blanket, sink didnt drain. We checked out a day early. It may have beed okay in its prime, but it is a sad place now. Avoid this one!!

När vi kom fram till bungalow så ansåg vi att det var inte dubbelsäng som vi hade i bokning det var 2 st enkla sängar och en dubbellakan. Madrasserna va obekväma och hård att sova på (kunde inte sova hela natten då så fort man vände sig till andra sidan så särade sängarna ifrån) och vilket gjorde att det va svårt att dela en dubbellakan. Vi fick ryggsmärta och hade svårt att sova. Vi pratade med personalen samma natt och fick sova en annat rum för tillfälligt. Dagen efter bytte vi bungalow men fick liknande sängar med en dubbelmadrass. Vi fick endast 2 st schampo (en varsin som va ca 20 ml ) och en handtvål, vi var tvungna att fråga om schampo och tvål varje dag det fylldes inte på efter städningen Rummet städades inte varje dag (ni kan se dammen på handkontroll , resväskor och fläckarna på sängshyllan). Handdukar och duschlakan byttes inte varje dag ,vi va tvungna att slänga dem på golvet för att de förstå att de behövas byta. Det luktade mögel i badrummet och va inte alls fräsch. Det saknades sittdynor på utemöbler och möblerna va så smutsiga . Poolen var gammal och smutsigt. Det stack ut elkablar i badrummet vilket är väldigt farlig . Det saknades papperskorg och värdeskåp i rummet vilket vi frågade efter x antal gånger första dagen men fick aldrig (det fanns i andra rummet). Det stod i bokning fri WiFi i rummet men det fanns bara i barn och lobbyn område . I hotellkuddar så stod hotellet är 4 stjärnig . Vi bokade en dagsutflykt via hotellet och frågad

Nice resort just unfinished

Nice idea just unfinished. Pool saved the resort to escape heat, air con was brilliant in room. Bed was uncomfortable, room wasnt cleaned properly from previous guest (hair on floor etc). Couldnt use wardrobe as it smelt fusty. Bathroom - leaking shower and an odd layout.

Such a quite & peaceful resort

Staff very friendly room cleaned daily& clean towels etc ,in such a lovely area close to ammeanities will go back again soon
