「Difficult to find, on a fishmarket, no way to check in earlier then 3pm (even when the room is ready), but Folkestone is great, that makes it more then okay! Room is small but very cosy. No closets, bathroom is small and not practical. Good bed, super view, great (expensive) diner at Rocksalt restaurant.

「The hotel isn't modern, but it's pleasant. Everything is close by: restaurants, shops, and a bus station. The view from the window is beautiful, and the beach is a 10-15-minute walk away. The staff was very helpful.
One minor drawback was the room service: we had to ask for fresh towels or toilet paper even though someone was in our room every day because shampoo sachets were left behind. 」
