"I arrived later on in the evening so reception was closed.
Contact number was provided on the door, which I called and was quickly guided to the location of my key to gain entry.
Room was really homely and clean.
Hotel has a car park onsite.
I didn’t eat or drink at the hotel but they do have a bar."

"The ground floor room was comfortable and adequate for our two night stay. There was some traffic noise from the busy main road, but it wasn’t too much of an issue. The hotel is situated close to the bus stop where there are frequent buses into the city centre."

"Just got back from a 2 night stay. Absolutely charming place to stay staff were so friendly and helpful. So close to the Center just a brief stroll down the lane would definitely come back to stay again. The dog loved it too"

"I enjoy a hotel that makes you feel like the location… not some generic place that looks the same in every location. The Porterhouse was great in that regard, made me feel like I was in Oxford. Clean and comfy room and great location. Staff was great and helpful in every way! Breakfast was nice. I would definitely stay again!"

"The room was clean and the bed and pillows very comfortable. The manager Anna, was particularly professional and kind during a family emergency which was very much appreciated."
"Breakfast was good. There was a problem with the booking of 2 rooms. The manager was most unhelpful and would not phone me or reply to my emails. However, the assistant manager was very helpful remedied our complaint very quickly."
"My stay at Bicester Golf Club Hotel & Spa was genuinely enjoyable. The property is calm, well‑kept, and offers a comfortable experience across the board. The facilities are clean, the rooms are spacious, and the overall atmosphere is relaxing.
A special mention for Molly, who we met every morning at breakfast. She was consistently exceptional - warm, attentive, and incredibly professional. She remembered small details, checked in proactively, and made each morning feel welcoming. Her service stood out and elevated the stay."
"Everything was great- very quiet location, excellent breakfast, daily housekeeping for fresh towels and sheets and helpful staff.
There was a little problem with the TV not working but it was resolved the next day."
"We enjoyed our 2 nights staying at The Holt. The Room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a very nice shower.
The staff were very helpful, especially in the restaurant with my dairy intolerance. My meal of Jerk Spiced Pork Rib Eye was delicious.
There was plenty of parking and the hotel is ideally situated to explore Blenheim Palace."
"Upon arrival, a friendly receptionist greeted us and checked us in with no hassle. The hotel is very much a place to sleep and shower. We booked a double room, which is quite small and fits the bed with just enough space to walk around it. Storage is minimal, with under-bed storage large enough for two backpacks, and there is no wardrobe.
The bathroom was clean, the AC was sufficient, and the bed was comfortable. Overall, I’d recommend this hotel if you simply need a quick overnight stay, as it offers good value for money."
