"Beautiful property to stay at. The grounds are very well maintained. Beautiful pool (unheated but nice and cool on a hot day!). Wonderful coffee shop. Very nice restaurant (I used for breakfasts). The architecture of the newer buildings (restaurant, coffee shop, tea house) is really nice and modern and fits wonderfully in with the rustic feel and look of the old tobacco barns. "In general it’s a bit out of reach but it’s a resort anyway. The personnel were quite nice. The property could use some maintenance. Half of the lights in our room didn’t work and the kitchen sink didn’t have any tap or running water.
