The hotel itself is beautiful, but keep in mind that it is not a beachfront resort. You can walk down a path to Baby Beach; however, it tends to be very touristy and is rocky and not a walking beach. Baby Beach is a great place to snorkel.
The service was not very good. I think part of that may be because the resort is new and they haven't worked out all of the kinks yet, but overall the customer service was lacking. We had to wait over two hours for our room to be ready, even though we arrived after the 3pm check-in time. The front desk staff repeatedly told us it would be "just 20 more minutes," but each time we checked back, the room was not available. We were told 3 separate times that, due to the inconvenience, something extra special would be waiting in our room. Unfortunately, we never received anything. Our friends who stayed in the Preferred Club had a butler who also acknowledged the issues and offered us a Bali bed for the duration of our stay as compensation. We accepted the offer, only to then be told they were sold out for the week. Due to allergies, we requested foam pillows several times but were never able to get one. As a result, I had to sleep on one of the decorative pillows from the bed because I couldn't use the standard pillows provided.
With the exception of the Himitsu and Coco Cafe, the service service was lacking
