The Space:
Villa Aquamare is a fully renovated 2 bed 2 bath beachfront apartment located at the Ocean Villas Building within the Wyndham Rio Mar Grand Resort in Rio Grande, Puerto Rico. You will love the ocean and pool views from both terraces, the living room, and one of the bedrooms. The condominium has 3 ocean-front pools and a jacuzzi, all within walking distance. The beach is across the pool and there are lounge chairs available for our guests to use.
Aquamare’s two-bed, two-bath layout, and immediate proximity to 3 pools and a mile-long beach make it the ideal property for couples and families looking for the perfect, no-hassle Caribbean vacation.
**PLEASE DO NOTE THAT THE OCEAN VILLAS BUILDING IS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH THE WYNDHAM RIO MAR RESORT.**
IMPORTANT NOTE: Guests **are not** authorized to use ALL of the Wyndham Hotel amenities and facilities. Villa Aquamare’s guests only have access to the Iguana's Cocina Puertorriqueña Restaurant and the Hotel Casino, as well as the Golf Courses, Tennis Courts & Spa (all available with prior reservation booked directly with the hotel). The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the building and they reserve the right of admission.
Please do note that this can change at any time without the hotel informing us and should take this under consideration before booking the unit.
LIVING AREAS
The living room has comfortable seating for six adults and a flat-screen smart TV. The living room has pool and beach views and a terrace with a breakfast table for four and a modern hanging chair. The dining room has a four-person round dining table and is seamlessly connected to the living room. There is air conditioning throughout the entire apartment.
The property includes a washer and dryer for your convenience.
SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS
There are two bedrooms. The master bedroom has a king bed with an armchair and smart TV. The master bathroom is fully renovated and features a double sink and standing shower.
The 2nd bedroom has two queen beds, an ocean-front terrace with 2 chairs, smart TV, and a dedicated full bathroom with a shower.
PACK AND PLAY (SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY):
We can leave a complimentary Pack and Play at the property upon request. This should be requested upon booking or no later than 5 days before arrival. Pack and Plays are subject to availability.
KITCHEN
Villa Aquamare has a fully renovated kitchen that is small and tidy but well-outfitted for an extended stay. The kitchen features a 4-burner stovetop, microwave, oven, ice maker, and fridge.
GETTING AROUND & PARKING
The villa includes one (1) parking spot.
Renting a car is a must when staying in Rio Grande as Ubers and taxis are not readily available in this area.
There are many activities within 15 minutes of driving distance and the roads are easy to navigate.
LOCATION
This private beachfront villa is located at the Ocean Villas Community, within the grounds of - but not associated with - the 500-acre Wyndham Rio Mar Grand Resort & Spa. The Ocean Villas community boasts three oceanfront pools and a jacuzzi available for use of community residents and guests only. There is 24-hour security and underground parking. The Ocean Villas are directly in front of the beach and include access to beach lounge chairs.

All properties come with freshly laundered bed linens and towels. We provide 2 bath towels per guest and 1 beach/pool towel per guest.
We provide a set of disposable essentials to help you get your vacation started comfortably. These include:
- 1 set of hotel-size soap and shampoo (per bathroom)
- 3 garbage bags
- 1 roll of paper towels
- 2 rolls of toilet paper (per bathroom)
- 1 dish soap
- 1 dish sponge
- A small amount of laundry detergent
Please note that we do not provide unlimited disposable amenities. It is the guest’s responsibility to review what is included in the property and stock any additional items needed for the duration of the stay.
Most properties also include at least 2 beach chairs and an ice cooler. You may reach out to us 5 days before arrival for confirmation.
HOUSE RULES
RENTAL AGREEMENT: All bookings require a signed Short-Term Rental Agreement, which will be sent upon confirmation of your reservation. Guests must upload a valid photo ID (no selfies) that matches the name on the credit card used for the booking. The agreement must be signed within 48 hours of booking or prior to entering the property, whichever comes first. Check-in instructions will not be provided until the agreement is completed.
NO SMOKING: Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property. A $500 smoking fee will be charged if this rule is violated.
NO PETS: While we are pet lovers, pets are not permitted at the property at any time. A $300 fine will be charged if this rule is violated, and guests may be asked to leave the property.
QUIET HOURS: Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM. Please be mindful of noise during these hours out of respect for nearby residents/neighbors.
UTILITIES (WATER & ELECTRICITY): In the event of an interruption to water or electrical service, the host is not responsible for hotel, alternate lodging, or transportation expenses. If service is interrupted for more than 3 hours, guests may cancel the reservation and request a refund for unused nights only. Nights already used are non-refundable.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY: The maximum occupancy is 6 adults/children at all times, including visitors.
OCCUPANCY ENFORCEMENT: Occupancy limits are strictly enforced. Exceeding the maximum occupancy may result in immediate cancellation of the reservation or removal from the property without refund.
TOWELS & LINENS: Towels and linens are provided for normal use only. Please do not use them for cleaning or allow them to be stained with food, grease, or other substances. Charges may apply for damaged or stained items.
TOWEL HANGING: Please do not hang towels or any other items to dry in areas visible from outside the unit. A $100 community fine may apply if this rule is violated.
SUBLETTING: Subletting or re-renting the property is not permitted.
CHECK-IN / CHECK-OUT TIMES
Check-in begins at 4:00 PM, and since this is a self-check-in unit, you can arrive anytime after that.
If you’d like to check in earlier, please contact us the day before your arrival, and we’ll confirm availability. When possible, early check-in typically starts around 11:00 AM. Please note that early check-in is subject to availability and depends on our cleaning schedule.
