Great location to San Juan Old town. Hotel staff very helpful and room a nice size and clean. Had 2 night here before a cruise and would certainly recommend it.

I truly enjoyed my stay at the Oliver Hotel. I arrived early in the morning and was pleasantly surprised that my room was already ready for check-in. Everything was clean, well-kept, and beautiful. The location is fantastic, just a 15-minute walk to Old San Juan and the beach.

Definitely a different experience to not have a ton of amenities or staff on site at all times as they manage multiple properties. That being said, they were always a quick text or phone call away and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. Great location and very clean room. I would definitely recommend this spot for the next traveler looking for a great (and walkable) place to stay near Old San Juan and/or Condado.

It was a great value for its price. The staff was friendly and the room is spacious and clean. There was not as many amenities like free water etc but can be found nearby. You can definitely walk a bit to get to Old San Juan from this location though a bit farther. Overall I had a great experience

After being buzzed into the hotel we waited over 20 minutes for staff to join us in the lobby to check us in. Unfortunately there was no key card entry. Anyone coming in to the hotel had to ring the doorbell and wait for staff to buzz you in. Otherwise friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room with a sitting area but TV only in bedroom. So we never used the sitting room. Hotel located within walking distance of Old San Juan. Fifteen minute walk to Plaza de la Colon. Expedia asked us to rate the breakfast but we were not offered breakfast nor did we see a place in the hotel for breakfast.

It was actually a really good stay. They are doing renovations it appears but they offer a complimentary beer and are very attentive. I like the security of the place. You get a PIN code to access the hotel which made me feel comfortable since I was traveling alone. I would definitely stay there again. It’s close to everything which I loved. Definitely recommend it!

Boutique Hotel in the heart of San Juan

Staff were incredibly friendly, the room was spacious and very comfortable for myself. Restaurants and convenience stores, beaches were all at a walking distance. The area in which the hotel is located is pretty quiet, heard zero street noise from my room (206) I would absolutely stay here again for both price and the comfort of the room. I slept in every night of my stay with zero issues falling asleep. Thank you again!

hotel had no amenities such as gym or pool and practice front desk staff however it was quiet, felt safe and it was clean . lobby was spectacular and modern. however the rooms need upgrade and fridge was not clean everything else met good standards and bathroom was modern however water pressure was low. 6 out of 10

We were fortunate to snag a last-minute reservation at this hotel, thanks to a cancellation, and couldn’t have been happier with our experience! The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. Our stay was wonderfully comfortable, and the hotel’s location offered the perfect balance—peaceful and removed from the hustle and bustle, yet still accessible. We enjoyed a leisurely 20-minute walk to Old San Juan, which added to the charm of the trip. This hotel has won us over, and we’ll undoubtedly return the next time we visit San Juan!

The hotel was small eclectic place. The room was spacious. The location to Old San Juan was a healthy walk about 15 - 16 min. They said they plan to add a rooftop cafe which would be a useful amenity.

Everyone at this was so nice. Bubbly wine served as we waited for our room and a complimentary bottle of wine in our room. If I return to San Juan I would stay again!

Hotel is cute and well-located between old town and Condado. Everything is a short $3 uber away. The room was large and clean now we the TV didn’t work for the duration of our stay (despite multiple requests to fix it) and the staff is unavailable—there is nobody at reception, you have to phone someone and they come from a nearby property to handle check-in and other requests. This was at times a bit inconvenient/frustrating but overall it’s a nice room. For the price the TV should work; and small maintenance things like the toilet paper holder should not be broken.

Very nice property. Clean and modern. Large room. Staff were all wonderful, especially Geraldo who went out of his way to welcome us at 2 am when we arrived. The place is located about 15 minutes walk from the tourist area, but was quiet and extremely clean.

Beautiful Interiors, Disappointing View

While the interior of the hotel and the room were beautifully designed and clean, the view from my window was disappointing, overlooking a dilapidated building and an unfinished Ferris wheel. Additionally, the elevator was out of service during my stay. Not much offered for the price paid!

It is a new boutique hotel, so that was very appealing and beautiful. However, the hot water plumbing was running cold/hot but that was being worked on by our departure. Hopefully it’s been fixed by the time of this review. Rita, the hotel manager was very friendly and accommodating and made sure we were comfortable. My husband and I really appreciated her efforts and enjoyed our stay!

I recently stayed at this hotel during my first solo trip to Puerto Rico, and it was a great experience! The rooms were clean and spacious, with a nice bathroom and cozy couch. The staff were friendly and helpful, but there was often a lack of presence in the lobby, making it unsettling at times. More visibility would improve the experience. I appreciated the texting and WhatsApp options for communication, and one staff member provided AMAZING local recommendations. As a female solo traveler, I was concerned about the neighborhood due to a LARGE police presence and local warnings, but this didn’t overshadow my positive stay. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel. Thank you for a memorable experience—I’ll definitely be back soon!

Wow! Is how I can describe my stay at the Oliver hotel! It is such a beautiful hotel with super high ceilings! The aesthetics of the hotel gave it a bit of a modern look while also preserving nature. I was greeted by the most bubbly loving receptionist! She’s amazing. Super friendly. Provided me with suggestions. Lichimarys(sorry if I got ur name wrong) you’re the best! It was quiet. Felt like no one was in the hotel with me lol. I got the suite so my bed was huge! Black out curtains. I was 5 mins away from el convento. Everything was a pro. The only con was that I had to leave so early! Thank you for the amazing experience!
