We had an amazing stay here. Very clean property staff was super friendly. Walking distance to the beach also very affordable. Great food in the area and not far from the airport! Definitely going back to stay again in the near future.

I enjoyed my stay. They have all the amenities including a hair dryer which came in very handy for me. Bring your padlock as they do have lockers, you can fit a full backpack and more. The beds are clean and comfortable. There’s parking in front of the property for your car rental. Safe to walk for a solo woman traveling. The employees are very nice and helpful. Checkout the speak easy lounge right on the property.

The staff was helpful and courteous. The room was clean upon arrival and we were regularly offered fresh towels. The outdoor pool was open and made for a hub of socializing with other guests and learning about additional opportunities for excursions and adventures around the area. The location is very well suited to go to the beach often and within good distance from both the airport and Old San Juan. Would recommend to younger travelers, especially if they are going solo!

Female solo traveler , met great young ladies. Remember your code since you will need it to enter the rooms and restrooms/showers. There was a speakeasy on the premises where you can enter through the hostel property in case you want late drinks/food. Didn’t get to use the pool or kitchen but looked well maintained. Beds were comfortable! I rented a car so nice to know they offer parking. It’s located on a busy highway but didn’t mind that. To get to the beach you have to cross a bridge , about a 5 min walk. For food there’s panaderia españa also 5 min walk or less.

I’ve stayed here three times already, and I would stay here again and again! Every time I come back, it feels like returning to a little family. There’s such a welcoming, social atmosphere where everyone naturally comes together, and every visit I leave with new friends and new memories. As a solo female traveler, that has been one of my favorite things about staying here. I’ve always felt comfortable, and my “bunk sisters” have been amazing every single time! ❤️ I also love Vagabundo next door—the food, drinks, atmosphere, and social spaces make the whole experience even better. I even did the speakeasy tour and absolutely loved it! If you’re traveling solo and want somewhere that makes it easy to meet people, have new experiences, and feel like you’re part of a little community, this is such a special place. Three stays later, I’m still making memories here, and I’ll definitely be back!

Cool, ambience respectful staff very open and friendly made my first day very enjoyable would recommend this stay. It’s an expensive and noisy just like all hostels typically FYI, if you’re a light sleeper.
