Studio #2 Fully-equipped with Boardwalk Patio Access - Oceanfront! Pet-Friendly!

The Candelore Family is happy to offer a studio apartment with Boardwalk Patio privileges. The studio has a full kitchen area with table and chairs. The bathroom has a shower/tub combination. Note that the apartment is not directly on the beach and does not have a direct view to the ocean. With the front door open, there is an oblique view to the boardwalk, and the main living area side window has a distant view to the ocean. The shared patio is on the boardwalk, but not attached to the unit itself. The unit is upstairs towards the rear of the property. The upstairs is light and bright and the window blinds may be left open as it is difficult for people to see in.

PLEASE READ AND AGREE BEFORE INQUIRING: The unit is suitable for 2 adults (a couple possibly with one infant or small child - 5 years old or younger). There is no access to the patio for non-guests. Due to the small shared area of the patio available to the studio, no one can be invited to come to the patio. For the health of our guests, no smoking of any kind is allowed inside the unit. We are serious: offenders will be fined and reported to the platform.

Not just a “would” stay here again…but a “will be” staying here again!

This little studio is perfect for two adults wanting to explore mission beach! It’s an older home but you can really tell they keep up the grounds and are happy to provide the best experience for their guests. I felt safe and comfortable sitting by myself on the front porch near on the board walk and enjoyed the full kitchen on the nights where we had so many leftovers from all the amazing eateries within a small 3 block distance! Thank you Brant for the amazing stay!

Smack Dab In The Middle of Fun

Loved the location. Half mile walk to Belmont Amusement Park which is packed with entertainment for young and old. Rent a bike and ride the boardwalk up to Pacific Beach for more experiences. Not to mention the beautiful ocean access where you can stroll, see dolphins, and watch the sunset.

Great Location & Very Cozy Studio Unit

We love the studio unit. It has all the essentials that we would need and more (like boogie boards, lawn chairs, beach towels, coffee & creamer, etc). The location is ideal. We appreciate having a dedicated parking space so we don't have to drive around looking for parking. Brant is a super responsive host. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to make it an annual visit.

Amazing Location

Literally steps from the beach. Great location. On site parking. Had a great weekend for my daughters early birthday celebration. Perfect size for 2 people. Lock on door didn’t always work to leave, but felt very secure in location.

AWESOME location!

We enjoyed kicking our feet up on the deck next to the boardwalk, watching the ocean and the people, and the super easy access to PB and Mission eateries and activities! This older studio unit shows its age in some places, and was overall comfortable, quaint, and cheery. Excellent comfy bed, and stocked kitchen essentials. Pleasant surprises like beach chairs and extra work table. Owner/manager Brant was delightful and very thoughtfully accomodating. Will stay here again!

Nice studio for two. Nice biking and walking areas. Proximity to the beach was perfect. Water temp was 58○F but nice to look at. Homeless people everywhere unfortunately. No easy answers. We felt pretty safe during the day. Thanks Brent for allowing us to stay with you. Cheers Steve and Pauline.

Great location

We stayed here while visiting the UCSD campus. The location was great as we were able to get to both La Jolla and various San Diego neighborhoods easily, plus the beach is right outside the gate. The bed was comfy and we were able to keep the windows open at all times for fresh air and to hear the waves. The only downside to this is that street traffic was loud in the evenings and the machinery moving sand on the beach was incredibly noisy and started before sunrise. The unit is pretty worn and there was a huge hairball on the edge of the bathtub and someone else’s trash in the bathroom, but the studio worked great for our needs.

Upon check in room was extremely dirty. Property manager made things right. Bed in room was very squeaky and is definitely uneven. Upon booking it seemed based off of pictures there is a patio connected to the room, there is not. I will be staying elsewhere next time. Location is awesome

Perfect location and patio use on Ocean Front Walk. Incredible!

The Unit is behind the main house and upstairs. The patio use reserved for the studios is on the east side of the patio. We used it every morning and loved watching the ocean/beach and passersby with our morning coffee. The location is fantastic. About 8min walk south on Ocean Front Walk to the Mission Beach Rollercoaster, FIT gym and tons if restaurants and nightlife. A 15min walk or so north brings you up to Pacific Beach and Crystal Pier with tons of restaurants and nightlife. Check in is very easy and straightforward. Brant the host is super kind and will address any issue immediately. Super responsive too. Best value for your money in the area. We plan to return. .
