Our second home in Las Terrenas

This was our second time staying at this property and it did not disappoint. The property is small, cosy and well maintained. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast is great; coffee, eggs, tomatoes, avocado, fresh juice and toast… made to order with love! Valerio and his staff really made us feel at home!

Nuestra estadía fue una de las mejores del viaje en general. Valerio nos hizo sentir como en casa. Siempre atento a sus huéspedes. Se agradece infinitamente que es solo adultos. La piscina es maravillosa y las habitaciones son espaciosas y con buen gusto. El colchón está lo máximo y se duerme increíble.

Enrike et sa femme Reny et leur directeur sont très sympas. Nous avons apprécié la tranquillité, le confort et la sécurité. Le petit dej offert nous a bcp plu. Nous recommandons fortement ce joli petit hôtel ‘cosy’.

Fantastic boutique hotel

Hacienda TT es un excelente lugar para hospedarse relajado, bellamente diseñado y decorado. El anfitrión es genial, el desayuno complementario es delicioso y cambia todos los días. Lo único que debe mencionar en caso de que sea alérgico y / o no le gusten los perros, es que los dos perros de los dueños están presentes en las áreas comunes. Pero si eres un amante de los animales como yo, te recomiendo encarecidamente Mathew's Hacienda

A hidden gem

We loved our stay at this beautiful place. The perfect getaway to relax and enjoy the silence, especially as this is an adults only with only a few rooms. The hotel is located close to the busy center, but not within walking distance. Rooms and property were spotless, very clean and comfortable. Mathias and his staff were very accommodating at all times. Breakfast was exceptional... made to order by Mathias. Definitely a place we recommend to others. We hope to come back soon.

I loved the fact that the owners took their time talking to me. Telling me about the geography of the area. The different beaches and restaurants. Mathias is a great host and so is Carmen. I also loved the fact that they live on premises and treat guests as family

If I could rate this hotel with 10/10, I would! Math and Carmen are amazing hosts. The Hacienda is conveniently located close to the main beaches and restaurants. The decor is beautiful, everything is sparkling clean and Math has made sure that everything is eco-friendly. By the way: breakfast at the hotel was fresh and delicious. I am already planning on coming back and would recommend it to anyone who wants to visit Las Terrenas.

This place was our idea of total relaxation. Being low season we had the place to ourselves most of the time. Our host , Math was always there to provide helpful advice as well as a gourmet breakfast each morning.

Extraordinaria estancia. Matt y Carmen nos dieron una acogida excepcional después de un largo viaje. Mi maleta se perdió en la aerolínea y ellos me ayudaron a gestionar todo. Estuvieron muy pendientes de que descansáramos y desconectáramos. Las fotos recogen el DESAYUNO RICO Y VARIADO (cada día era temático). Todo extraordinariamente LIMPIO Y CUIDADO AL DETALLE. El acceso a Hacienda Terra Taina es privado y protegido con vigilancia. Nos sentimos muy seguros. Tiene parking privado gratuito dentro de la misma Hacienda. La habitación era grannnnnnde y el baño era amplísimo. Con estilo tradicional para la arquitectura exterior, el interior es moderno y funcional. LA CAMA AMPLIA Y SUPERCÓMODA. Hacienda Terra Taina es un lugar increible para conectar contigo misma/o, con tu pareja o amigos. Volveremos sin duda, por la paz y los amigos que allí hicimos.

Life time experience

Well what can I say for the hospitality of this amazing couple Math and Carmen. They made our 4 day trip in Las Terrenas a very special and unforgettable experience. Even though their home is fantastic, for us the most important thing is that we left feeling we have made some new friends and we have learnt so many things about the island and its people. Please do not stay in resorts. Explore around to feel the vibe of the island and once in Las Terrenas stay with Math and Carmen. PS: Breakfast, room and surrounding area just amazing. Very convenient if you have a car, which I would totally recommend so you can explore the whole peninsula. I would advice you to follow Math's recommendation on what to do while in Las Terrenas. He was right in every one of them. Thanks again for the great hospitality and hope to see you again soon
