Everything was great. The house was very clean and very comfortable. The host was super responsive. The walk to the beach was a little tough for some of our party, doable but tough for the little ones and older ones. I'm sad that we are not able to come back this same week next year, but will absolutely check this place for availabilty when I get my next dates!

Friends stay

We really enjoyed our stay. We ended up renting a gas grill to give us some ease of grilling all of the fresh seafood from the area. Great stay. Will consider this place next year.

Nice Private Oceanfront Property

A nice home away from the hustle and bustle of OBX tourist centers. Weather was still on the cold side for spring break (lesson learned), but we'd love to come back in the warmer months.

The location of the home and views of the beach are incredible. The home is spacious, kitchen well stocked, the deck chairs, pool & hot tub are great and the chairs & shade tent provided for the beach are nice amenities. The bedding is ok and we slept well. However, the house has seen few updates, the windows are dingy, the shades broken, light fixtures and fans are in rough shape and the carpet worn. There are not outlets by many of the beds. The path to the beach is a bit overgrown. We had a good time and were generally comfortable. The house was priced less than comparable updated homes in the area. This is a value priced option for those needing space and wanting to be directly on the beach.

House was very roomy and accommodating. We enjoyed our family vacation. The pool is wonderful. The walk to the beach is over a sand dune so could be tricky for elderly but was fine for the younger members of our family. The host responded quickly to any questions or needs we had. We would stay again.

Perfect ocean getaway

The property was just as advertised and exactly what we needed. The common areas were spacious and well laid out with plenty of options for different members of the group to spread out and do their own thing. The kitchen was well stocked with all the necessities. The view of the ocean was absolutely amazing. Overall, we were very comfortable and had a great stay!

Perfect Place for a large family vacation

A wonderful quiet and beautiful beachside vacation spot. A short walk to the beach, a private pool and hot tub and wonderful views. Quiet and relaxing with everything you need just a few minutes down the road. REAL watersports located just 5 minutes down the road. Joanne was very communicative and extra cool to be pet friendly.

This was our first time visiting the Outer Banks, and we had an amazing experience! The house was in a perfect location, just a short walk over the dunes to the beach, tucked away on a quiet street, and only a quick stroll to the sound side. We loved that everyone had plenty of space to relax, but we could all come together on the third floor to enjoy meals, watch the sunrise and sunset, and capture family photos. The setup was ideal for both privacy and togetherness. We would definitely stay here again, and so would our four-legged friends, who absolutely loved it too!
