翌朝、バーゼル空港から飛ぶ予定があったので、選びました。夜遅くに駅に着いて、周囲が暗いのに焦りましたが、駅の保安スタッフにタクシーを呼んでもらえたので、助かりました。

あまりお薦めできいません。

いろいろと問題がありました。まずバーゼル空港に迎えに来てもらうことになっていましたが、連絡してもなかなか迎えの車が来ず、結局、1時間待ちました。その間に携帯で国際電話を３回ほどかけざるを得ず、経費がかかりました。また部屋があまり清潔ではなく、トイレ兼用のバスルームは少し匂う感じでした。フロントの方の印象は悪くなかったのですが、全体としては、待っている時間の不安や部屋の清潔感などで低い評価になります。ただ、送迎のどちらかが無料というシステムなのですが、ホテルも非を認めて両方を無料にしてくれたことも公平のために記しておきます。

綺麗で受付も親切だけどバーゼルから行く場合は注意

スイスの物価が高いのでバーゼルへの出張で使用。ホテルとしては（ちょっと狭いけど）清潔、朝食も焼きたてのパンが充実している。バーゼル駅からタクシーで越境できないので移動方法に注意。電車がある時間帯ならバーゼル駅から1駅、徒歩10分程。ユーロポート（バーゼル空港）からならフランス側に出国して電話すればシャトルバスを送ってもらえる。

また泊まりたいです

空港からの無料のシャトルタクシーを利用することができます。あらかじめホテルに予約しておくことが必要です。もっとも無料といっても税金分は負担が必要です。往復で１ユーロくらいです。自分でタクシーで行けば片道１２ユーロくらいは必要ですので、かなり安く行けるのでとても助かります。夜遅い時間の到着便や早朝の出発便の時には特に便利です。空港利用のためだけでなく、バーゼル市内までは近くのバス停から路線バスで行けます。途中で国境を越えますが、乗車したままでいけるので便利です。４ユーロくらいだったと思います。ホテルのスタッフは、とてもフレンドリーで親切です。朝食のクロワッサンなどもおいしいです。フィナンシェは焼きたてでした。

便利な空港ホテル

空港の迎えはiより電話してもらって、easyという会社のシャトルがTaxiレーンに迎えに来ます。大型スーパーマーケットgiantがあり、便利です。子供を連れていたら幼児まで追加料金を請求されました。

The location is great for airport access. We were happy with our room, and check in. We were a little concerned as our prebooked shuttle was late coming to pick us up to transfer to the airport.

The air in the room was terrible. Dry and heating system that was noisy. Not pleasant at all. Sheets were dirty not a clean impression. Front desk lady was really nice and friendly .

Overall clean, and it was nice to have an extra blanket. Otherwise, one of the most no-frills places I've stayed. TV didn't work (unless you like static), there were a couple paper cups, but no ice bucket. Bed was fine.

Good value. Comfortable room. Staff friendly and efficient. Only downside was the airport shuttle taxi service - we hadn’t realised that the free shuttle service was only one way (either from the airport to the hotel OR from the hotel to the airport) and so were taken by surprise when we were asked to pay for the return trip back to the airport. Still, the cost charged by the hotel seemed much less than if we had paid the taxi ourselves. We (and other guests) expected to get a Basel Card for free bus rides and reduced cost entrance to attractions but, as the hotel is in Saint-Louis, not Basel, that didn’t work.

As I arrived late for a layover in Basel airport, I preferred to stay closer to airport with this hotel (only 3km). The hotel says it has a shuttle and this is the tricky part! On the way to hotel, I had to wait 20mn that a shared Uber showed up with 2 other pax going somewhere else. The hotel is in the middle of a small suburban town with nothing around to have a walk and nice dinner. Fortunately shuttle was free. But when booking the way back on check-in, I was advised it’s 17€! For 3km, it’s abusive… in the end, for the fee of the hotel the fee of the return shuttle, I would have better stayed in Basel downtown where bus 50 is free for tourists staying at least 1 night in Basel. And atmosphere is dramatically different in Basel with lots of places to go out!

Dear Olivier,We are sorry to read your insatisfaction.I am quite surprise by some things you mentionned. There is one way included in the roomprice as it costs us 17 so we can't provide two ways. At the airport, when you call us, we call directly the shuttle and then you wait 10-20 minutes till the shuttle arrives. In the city centre of Saint-Louis, it is not the same as Basel, that's for sure but you have 4 restaurants nearby (less than 10 minutes walking) and even one good restaurant Entre'potes just in front of the hotel.Hotel prices in Basel place are at least 50 higher and the restaurants it is the same.Best regards,Laura BASSManager
