"1st room they gave us the AC was leaking. The shower and toilet was 1 tiny room. So uncomfortable. 2nd room the cover of the AC was loose, thought it would fall on our head as it was above the bed. Finally the 3rd room was ok..we stayed 4 nights room was only cleaned once. Took 3 rooms for us to get some what comfortable. As id already paid online i couldn't change this hitel. Ive seen other places much cheaper, comfortable and spacious. Dont think id be staying here again."
"We have stayed at The Shalimar Hotel, every year for last at least 30 years now, as it was good for all the amenities and staff were very friendly and looked after us very well! This time, there were too many issues, which I have submitted to the hotel on their feedback firm and I was very verbal too with complaints. "A really good located hotel in “Marine Lines”, which means, that you have an easy way to it (Churchgate Station is around). The hotel staff was really good and always did everything for a smooth & relaxing stay.
Only thing that could be better, is that the bathroom needs a renovation.
All in all, I would choose this hotel again because of its value for money, included breakfast and friendly staff."

"The hotel itself is great, staff was amazing. While I liked the area and the noise did not bother me, it is a bit far from touristy things to walk but taxis are readily available and street noise is present even in your room, or at least it was in room 448. The room was extremely large, matters was comfy, water pressure in the shower was fantastic, mini bar had ample selections and room service is 24/7. Felt very safe inside with multiple layers of security. "
