8/10 Good
"An absolutely iconic hotel that you certainly pay the price for. I stayed in May, very early in the season (unheated pool beware). Perfect location, on the beach, close to airports and all the important nightlife. Being so iconic comes with slight staff attitude and arrogance because they know there will always be someone else more important/famous next in line. Very limited sunbeds (I hate to think the competition in peak season). Beware you have to pay for some of them even if a hotel guest. I had a beautiful room which overlooked the very noisy construction next door (old Hard Rock hotel) and I asked to move room (twice) due to the noise to which I was told no both times. The hotel was empty so this was disappointing as there were clearly spare rooms. Have to be very careful for the amenities in the room, most of them are chargeable! Breakfast was the highlight (€60pp!) but certainly very impressive. Ate at Gordon Ramsey, delicious food but the size of a postage stamp for a hefty price tag. Please increase portion size! Overall an impressive hotel but wouldn’t stay again."
Ibiza Corso Hotel
8/10 Good
"Overall a good stay for price paid. Property was very clean. Rooms are somewhat updated. Comfortable bed. Basic but nice, updated gym. Breakfast was better than anticipated — well run, always clean tables, friendly cooks. The “free parking” is actually street parking, but there was always an open spot in the lot in front (which is public parking) or around the neighborhood, just have to look or be creative (there is no hotel parking). Entrance is confusing- main entrance in front facing harbor has no elevator, no ramps, and it’s up a few flights of stairs to get to lobby. Tiny broken sign says “R..tion” (reception with missing letters, truly sad and reflective of management), this is the front side with no elevator. Back entrance has zero signage, not even hotel name. (Park in back for checkin, if you can). Reception staff were very nice. Hotel could be so much better if the owners / management cared. Lots of wear and tear. Broken floor tiles throughout. Half of exterior and lobby looks slick (new), half looks run down (the front and the hallways and the room condition). or abandoned (lower front - taped up, abandoned restaurant signs).. Could use a refresh — could be much nicer with minimal investment."
