"Excellent communication.It was great to have a fenced in area for our dogs, too. Only thing I want to point out is if you are mobility challenged getting in and out is a bit tricky. My mom walks with a cane and I has just had knee surgery. The two steps to the entry are VERY high. We would have to go around and unlock the bedroom door and help my mom up the two smaller steps from the street and into the house. I did pick it because it was one level but my fault for maybe not reading the fine print on the accessibility. Otherwise is it a very big house with a great patio and easy parking. The bathroom is very nice. Walk-in with a bench. Large kitchen. If you have someone that does not have a mobility issue to unlock the kitchen door (two big steps) and go around to the front and side door then you will be okay There is a door that goes to a large bedroom that has a chair (two small steps) and two small steps to the front door."

"We had a fantastic time and were very lucky enough to have clear skies between rains to see the meteor shower - it was amazing. The place was perfect for star gazing. The property was actually even nicer than we expected. Everything you need is thoughtfully provided. We look forward to our next stay here! Thank you"

"We had an excellent stay and enjoyed the location and the lodging. Our reservation was cancelled a few weeks before arriving at the Paisano due to remodeling issues. We found this place and are extremely happy that we did! Wonderful little bungalow, very clean, nice atmosphere, nice porch on the north side of the building, and a very convenient location. Nice shower, bathroom, living area, kitchen and the king size bed was very comfy! Oh, and dog friendly with a very reasonable pet fee...better than the 40/night per pet at the Paisano. Nice little grass area in front of the porch for Dolly to relax and roll on. Conveniences not available at the Paisano such as ground floor access and close proximity to our vehicle as we could park out front on the street. Made it a cinch to load and unload the vehicle. We are out in Marfa a few times a year. Glad we found this place and will definitely return again!"
Davis Mountains Hideaway-Cactus Flower Cabin

"Very clean cabin and well organized. We saw tons of wildlife, deer, donkeys, cotton tail rabbits, road runners, javelinas, humming birds, dove and much more. Very low light pollution and we saw tons of stars here. There were plenty of games for us to play with our kids. We very much enjoyed the stay.The last stretch of the road steep and rough enough that you probably want an AWD or 4x4."

"Very interesting and unique way to stay in Marfa. It was very quiet and easy to get to. We loved the view out of the windows and felt it was remote enough for us to unwind. The wifi was a bit difficult but that was due to a lot of recent storms in the area. I had to reset the router and it is password protected unlike how the desk said it was unlocked. However the password for the regular wifi works on the specific containers router."

"By far the best option in Marfa. But, that is a low bar. Don't expect a good restaurant experience in-house. Don't expect a great coffee shop in-house. Don't expect a proper fitness/training facility. Don't expect a quiet/comfy lobby. Room is very nice, though."
