We stayed two nights and had a very pleasant time during new year time. Rental home was clean and spacious enough for our 14 members friends and families.
We were 7 girls traveling together to go to Gettysburg and to Sight and Sound theater. The house was conveniently located and had plenty of room for us. There was some traffic noise from the street. Overall we really liked it and would definitely stay there again.
We stayed a weekend at Tina and Daryl’s home for a family wedding. It was spacious - clean and convenient to everything. We enjoyed the porch and watching the buggies go by the house. The house was immaculate and had so many fun quirks with the staircases and balconies. We will be back !
We came to do research on our ancestors and tour the area. The home we stayed in was absolutely perfect. Gave us the warm and inviting atmosphere we were looking for. Spent a lot of time on the front porch talking and so enjoyed watching the horse and buggies. Happened to be there for the Rhubarb Festival which was a lot of fun. So nice to be able to walk to that. We loved loved loved your place. Thank you!!
Full functioning kitchen, we cooked several meals there. The living room was on the small side, and some of the bedrooms were quite small, not really bedrooms. But overall, we all had a place to stay, and we were very comfortable.
We were there for my son’s wedding. 14 of us had plenty of room and beds. Absolutely the perfect location, walkable to the Kitchen Kettle Village and restaurants. We could sit on the porch and watch buggies go by. I would suggest leaving a bundle of firewood and matches. Took us 4 days to find any for sale. Will definitely be back!
The property is in a good location. Driveway is narrow but long. We planned who could get out first. You might want to bring an electric flyswatter for the flies. Lots of room so everyone had privacy. We only stayed the weekend so didn't use the kitchen much. Definitely would stay here again.
This past weekend, our family enjoyed a special time in your home. Tina and Daryl, your house is inviting and warm and full of everything we needed. As we sat around the fire pit, we reminisced about our past family get togethers and planned for future ones, too. From the front porch, which had plenty of rockers for all, we watched the leaves fall and buggies trot by. It was a beautiful time of the year with the changing leaves and the area is delightful! We hope to return to your cozy home again soon!
The hosts were welcoming and accommodating. The house itself is great for families, with lots of spaces for children to explore. It's location, a five-minute walk from Kitchen Kettle Village and within easy driving range of other Lancaster County attractions, is ideal. The kitchen is well equipped (although a full set of measuring spoons and a full set of measuring cups, including a liquid measuring cup, would be helpful for groups that plan to do their own cooking.
We were having a family gathering and this house worked so well. There was space for all. The weather was lovely so we enjoyed using the fire pit and tables in the backyard. We had 6 cars and the driveway accommodated them all.

This was a wonderful home for the 11 of us (ages 7 to78). The kitchen and dinig room were large enough to have family dinner together. It located in the heart to the Amish/Mennonite community. Sight and Sound Theater was close by. It was disappointing that the pool is actually located in a neighboring town and has an admission fee. We were also disppointed that our questions were not answered in a timely fashion.
We wanted to go to Sight and Sound for Christmas and needed a large place for our 15 people. Everything was great. We all had a wonderful time. There was not room for all of us to sit for a meal, but that wasn't a problem for us. Maybe for others. One of our teenage grands said, "I think we should do this every year."
