Springhaven is a relaxed, family-friendly coastal retreat just behind Dymchurch’s sea wall, with a private green and gate giving direct access to miles of sandy beach. Perfect for multi-generational families or groups of friends, it sleeps up to 11 in 5 bedrooms, including 3 ensuite.
Inside, the home is light, spacious, and designed for shared living. The vaulted kitchen-diner features a 3-metre bespoke bamboo dining table, ideal for meals together, while a separate TV lounge and sunroom overlook the gardens. The ground-floor bedroom with ensuite adds convenience for all ages.
Outside, the rear terrace sits beneath a closable pergola — ideal in the unpredictable English summer — with a large round dining table, lounge seating, and a gas BBQ. Front and rear gardens are private and sheltered, offering safe play space for children or peaceful spots to relax.
Springhaven is fully equipped for modern family life: NEFF kitchen appliances, espresso machine, Smart TV (for Netflix/Amazon), WiFi, washing machine, and tumble dryer. A travel cot and high chair are available on request (please bring your own cot linens). Beach towels are not provided, so please bring your own for sea or beach use.
Safety & Security
For your peace of mind, Springhaven has three discreet Ring security cameras. One is in the doorbell monitoring the porch, one covers the front garden from the veranda, and one overlooks the driveway above the garage. These are for safety and property protection only, allowing you to relax and enjoy your stay with confidence.
Springhaven sits in a quiet cul-de-sac, facing a private green just behind the sea wall, with a gate giving direct access to Dymchurch’s wide, sandy beach. The house combines tranquillity with convenience — close enough to walk to the village but far enough that the beach is never crowded.
A short 10-minute stroll (or 2-minute drive) brings you to Dymchurch village, where you’ll find a Tesco mini store, coffee shop, and the traditional funfair. Families will love the nearby Romney, Hythe & Dymchurch Railway — a charming miniature steam line in operation since 1927. The recently refurbished Ship Inn, just two minutes away on foot, serves good food in a welcoming atmosphere.
For bigger shopping trips or family outings, New Romney and Hythe are 15 minutes away, offering supermarkets and attractions such as Lympne Castle & Zoo. Folkestone, Dover, Rye, and Canterbury are within 30–45 minutes, perfect for sightseeing, dining, shopping, and exploring Kent’s “Garden of England.”
