The location is very centralized in Rome and made it super easy to get to all of the tourist attractions. With that being said, it did feel like we were staying in a very touristy area. Lots of construction going on outside, and constant scammers hanging out right outside the entrance to the complex.AC worked extremely well (we were visiting during a heatwave with daily temperatures reaching 100 degF). The beds were not comfortable but the place was clean. The shower in the downstairs bathroom would not drain properly, so showers were limited to a minute or two max without the water overflowing into the bathroom. The host was extremely responsive and allowed us to get in 4 hours early which was greatly appreciated.
